The best way I can describe it would be if you've ever been in the hunting section and sniffed one of those "earth scented" wafers for your hunting clothes, that's what it smells like. A very nice, clean, earthy, dirt scent. Not moldy or musty, just good clean dirt.

I'm liking it so far. A nice change from floral scents. Manly if I dare say so.

    Razor: Gillette SS (`48/`49)
    Blade: Personna Blue
    Soap: Italian Barber
    Brush: Omega Syn.
Pre Shave: Palmers Cocoa Butter Moisturizer
    AS: Gillette gel

Tried the Durham Dorset to start with. Pulled down from my side burn and it felt real good, smooth and all that stuff, until i got near my chin (whoa), that was enough. Changed over to my SS and smooth sailing all the way home. WTG/ATG/XTG for a smooth DFS, so i`m ok with that. I`m so bull headed, i will work on the Durham razors until i win or utterly fail. I guess it is what it is. Luck be with y`all.

Didn't want to bore you with the same picture as yesterday.
I can report that the DRH Arlington cream performed beautifully; adaquate slickness and protection, resulting in a lovely 2 pass with touch up shave. These days chasing "the baby" isn't as important to me as it used to be. So I find myself very satisfied with a darn fine shave. That way I don't risk razor burn of any kind. :)
Finished this long overdue shave with the Arlington AS and I feel better than I have felt (facially speaking) in a week.
    Have a great weekend everyone!

Yeah, I love earthy scents. Wonder what makes it Irish as opposed to Northrn Montana?

Yeah, i was just thinking over the past couple days, just maybe "baby" isn`t that important after all. I think scraping a sharp blade across your skin isn`t what one should be doing ( if you get too close). I still enjoy a good DFS and lotions close the pores, so it feels similar to "baby". Just thinking aloud.
