Sounds like you are healing faster than expected. DRs can be fun at times.... no mystery why your BP is up.

No shave tonight, way too busy and now I'm too tired. I'm actually disappointed. It's used to be with cartridges I'd go days without shaving because I dreaded the shave, now I actually look forward to them. I guess it just means more for my R41 to mow down. Have a great day folks!

One of those great relaxing shaves where everything seems to click. This morning was the maiden voyage with my new Simpson synthetic brush. This synthetic behaved much more badger like than any of the others I own or have tried. Loading the Tiki Cabernet Neroli was effortless. I added water to the brush several times as I face lathered and ended up with enough rich slick lather for 4-5 passes. Going with a traditional 3 pass shave ended with one of my best shaves ever using a Gem Type SE razor. A perfect BBS everywhere but just above my lips which are just short of BBS. I still have trouble with the Gem razors above my lips. Finished with a splash of F&C Capri. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

I had a great shave this morning. I just got the razor back from Glen, and it is definitely smooth. It just cut through the whiskers like nothing. I did a single pass with a little clean up and ended with a DFS. The Stirling Gatlinburg was fantastic as always.

It looks like a good week for right hands being cooked. I was pulling potatoes out of boiling water and somehow managed to splash it up onto the hotglove I was wearing where it soaked in and blistered my right thumb. Its not quite as bad as @Mr. Freeze93 but still painful and I'm unsure of how it will effect my shaving. I may have to put my painstick down for until after MAYhem. 2 weeks should have me in tip top shape to slaughter my face that month. In the meantime I am probably going to go with my Soviet plastic handled DE because of the lightweight. GSB until the last day of the month when I pull out a Derby.

No shave this morning. I laid in the bed thinking that I should stay in it before something bad happened. I guess I should have listened.
