In praise of Stirling Soaps...

    Speaking of Stirling....Rod posted on Facebook yesterday that past shave soaps and bath soaps are about to be released again in the coming weeks.

    Stirling Noir (Bath, Shave, Aftershave)
    Stirling Blu (Shave, Aftershave, Postshave Balm)
    Grapefruit (Bath, Shave, Aftershave, Body Butter)
    South Padre (Bath, Shave, Aftershave, Body Butter)
    Weekend in Malibu (Bath)
    Plumeria (Bath, Body Butter)
    Pearberry (Bath, Body Butter)

    Also new scents.
    Stirling Gentleman (Tobacco, Amber, Vanilla, Musk - Bath, Shave, Aftershave)
    Piacenza (homage to ADP - Bath, Shave, Aftershave, Postshave Balm - possibly lotion)

    Also he is taking votes to which Lime scent you would like to see. The choices are straight Lime and Black Pepper Lime.

    Ozark Mountain is just wonderful also Paul. I'm actually shaving with it the day after tomorrow, i believe is come up in the rotation. :)

    Definitely for my next Stirling order I want the Sharp Dressed Man and possibly the Executive Man. It's time for me to explore some more non-mentholated soaps which Rod produces!

    I just got an aftershave sampler via PIF. 5 scents. 3 were no-go, 2 are go's (one of which I already knew).

    My updated list of scents that will stay in my rotation. I'm starting to see that I prefer the more cologne type scents.
    -Sharp Dressed Man
    -Executive Man
    -Mountain Man
    -Barbershop

    No-Go's for me
    -Bay Rum
    -Ozark Mountain
    -MITA
    -Glastonbury? It may have been Gatlinburg. One of the G's. I'll have to look again when I get home.

    SWMBO loves Witchy Woman. She's starting to get low on the Bath Soap and Lotion which means when I pick her up some more I can get some stuff as well! :)

    My wife had the Witchy Woman bath soap, and liked it. What she really wants is some strong scented rose shave soap. Stirling doesn't seem to offer that. I might need to grate some Arko and add some essential oils to make up another Rose scented shave soap for her.

    I'm not a fan of rose, but I've heard good things about Soap Commander Love and Ginger's Garden's various rose options.

    Tried a sample last summer and immediately imagined myself in the tropical islands. :happy069:

    Went to order more in the Fall - discontinued! :angry017:
    Noticed it was a seasonal product and waited thru the usual Seattle winter. :sad029:

    Kept an eye on the site and boom:lam: right on schedule.

    Ordered the full size container and splash one day and they shipped the next.

    Should arrive any day now and then I'm back to the islands year round!:happy069: (i hope they included the DeLorean!)

    Agreed. An iced (MITA, Frozen Tundra) level of menthol or even a Glacial Executive Man would be amazing.
