04/21/2016 Cobra Classic Feather Pro (7) WDC-8 with Druida Manchurian Tiki Cabernet Neroli Witch Hazel Fine L’Orange Whipped Shea Butter Back to the Cobra for the next several work day shaves. Another great drama free near BBS shave this morning. The Cobra Classic and AlumiGoose V1 are very similar but the Cobra is a little more aggressive and efficient. Finished off with a splash of Fine L'Orange. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
Yeah, Chris I've gone through many different razors and I know pretty much right away if it's for me. It's in its box I'll pull it out maybe another time and try it out. Speaking of new razors! Two gents are coming out with a SE called the General, I got on the waiting list. Retail should be around $80-90. Release will be sometime this summer.

Gold Bond Ultimate Aftershave: CLAUS PORTO ACH BRITO Lavanda EdC Fantastic shave! ER 100T whipped up Mystic Water Jeff's Lavender into a fluffy pile of love. The Mongoose is the real deal. I really get super 3-pass shaves from it. What defines us is how well we rise after falling.

I like it as well. I watched the TSE video on it and the razor does look very cool. The price point is fantastic. That's 3 new Artist Club SE razors coming to market in the next few months. The General, new ATT SE, and one from Bullgoose.
Hello TSD - a little late today ... my thursday shave: - Arko - Mühle STF - Gold Dollar 208 - Tüff sensitiv Rasierwasser First time I used the Arko soap. Though I must admit it is absolutely foolproof in terms of ease of use and I can't say anything negative about the quality of lather, I still don't like it. What really bothers me is the scent ... it's just not pleasant. And shaving is all about pleasure, right? On the other hand this has been the best straight shave I've had so far. Two and a half passes, first WTG, second XTG and after that ATG on the cheeks. I think I did a slightly better skin stretching job on my right cheek - BBS there. On the left it's something between DFS+ and BBS. Still not sure which kind of blade I prefer ... full hollow or wedge? I like the sound of the hollow grind, but my smaller wedge seems to be a little easier to maneuver. Have a great day, folks
April 21, 2016 A month with my Schick Type F Hot Shower Razor: Schick F Blade: Feather AC Pro (2) Cut to fit. Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle Brush: Rubberset 400-4 TSD Witch Hazel AS: Myrsol Plastic Shave Two-pass shave - XTG, ATG After shaving with this combo for the first time yesterday, I woke up this morning with 24-hour whisker growth that was about the same length of what is normally left on my face prior to my last pass of a three or two-pass shave. Today’s shave was just as fine. For a blade as sharp as this one, I’m constantly wary of nicks and cuts due to operator error. But the angle on the F is apparently very forgiving (I’m not perfect with every stroke). This razor/blade combo is the best I’ve experienced in regard to both comfort and sharpness on every stroke. No nicks, cuts, not even a weeper and I have no irritation at all! Remarkable. Cheers! RT
