I'll find a spot in the production schedule soon to make it (mentholated Executive Man) . I'll probably split the difference between glacial and Orange Chill, and make it around Frozen Tundra strength. I still need to figure out a name for it though. Nothing is blowing my skirt up so far and my brain is too fried right now to be creative. I'll make some notes tomorrow night once I have a few pints in me.
When I got home this afternoon, I found a big ol' box of goodies from Stirling waiting for me. I just had to go with the Electric Sheep. I had never tried it, and despite Rod's warning to maybe sample first, I went for it. IT IS AWESOME!! But you have to believe the description when it says it is citronella. Like for real. Being a Minnesota boy, where the mosquitos grow to be the size of mud swallows, citronella doesn't stop them by any means, but it sort of makes them drunk so you have a fighting chance at swatting them. Or at least being able to get inside, and only let seven or eight hundred through the door with you. Let's just say that citronella is a comforting homey smell to me. Like pancakes and coffee on a weekend morning type of thing. If you do not like it, you WILL not like this soap. Their Sheep Soap is amazingly slick. Like bestest everest slick. Both of his scents are pretty strong (which I enjoy), but it makes me wonder how strong that tallow is... This is for sure another home run from Rod and Mandy! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Man, I am so glad you liked it! I try to tell folks about the mutton tallow. It really does make an amazing soap.
That sounds like a winner to me and being from Fla and fighting mosquitos all year round with citronella i too find the scent to be comforting, welcoming even!
Rod, wa Allahi Azim, I shaved this morning with the Glacial Eskimo soap and it treated me to some of the best lather I ever saw in all my life as a wetshaver. The Sharp Dressed Man scent came out, not to mention that the menthol freeze hit me like ten tons of icy bricks. Its post-shave feeling is absolutely brilliant as well like ALL your soaps. Mashalla, habibi!
That's exactly what the Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap is. Sharp Dressed Man with two boatloads of powerful menthol!
wow...guess I'll have to read Rod's description-but you do get the credit for letting me see it first.
I have the Scots Pine too, and I have to say, that the mutton soaps are the best performers I have. The scents so far, aren't going in the top five, but they are enjoyable and fun, and the performance is amazing. Highly recommend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Uh, Jeff, might you have been the individual who wrote Review #2 for the Glacial Eskimo Tux in Rod's website?????
