    Very nice shave today. Great implements and time to use them. Sounds like the formula for a successful endeavor. Gary if your out there, you did a great job on my granddad's brush. Rod if your reading, i love the smokeyness in the barbershop a/s. Kevin encouraged/tutored in honing. And to all at the Den for making it fun.
    Hope y'all did as well, or better.

    I tried out the F with the modified Feather this morning. There is no doubt the Feather is sharp, really sharp. But I find it to be a bit harsh as well. Maybe it'll smooth out on the next shave. I ended up with a small cut or two and can't say I really enjoyed the shave. :(

    Razor:Gillette Black Adj.
    Blade: GSB (5)
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Cream: Proraso White
    Pre Oil: Homemade
    A/S: Dove. Men+ Care
    Thayer`s Witch Hazel

    A 3 pass shave, 1st pass WTG, Which removed the fluffy lather (Proraso) along with most hair, one small nick on problem neck area. The 2nd pass ATG/XTG, with a pretty good nick (styptic), otherwise, cleaned almost everything else smooth. Final 3rd pass was wetter than average to clean up the missed areas.
    Feeling of my face right now, i am satisfied with a DFS+. Best wishes for all.

    The shave was rough and tuggy. I should have tried the other Ivory handle razor, as that blade has 10 shaves on it. I might have put them back into the opposite cases.
