    TESC Pre-Shave Oil
    TABAC
    Jayaruh #59 synthetic
    German Travel Razor
    Gillette Wilkinson Sword
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Vegetal

The TABAC Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #59 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the German Travel razor with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Late post for an early shave. Had to try the Weishi before I give it away and so I can tell newbies who have issues while using a Weishi that it isn't the razor( with a clear conscious). The razor performed quite well, the finish is magnificent, the blade is held in place perfectly with uniform exposure and blade gap. This is really an excellent razor that can be had for as little as $5.

The Personna started out sharp and smooth on its third shave but by the third pass I could tell that it lost it and it felt pretty rough. I really expected it to have better longevity. But alas, not the case with this blade, into the bank it goes.

    Have a great day everyone!

  16. SUNDAY
    Evening Shave for Tomorrow
Early Sunday morning start for me so a nice, leisurely shave tonight. A razor repeat of yesterday's shave using my new lefty Kanenaga kamisori (Day 4 of using Japanese-made razors). Tonight's shave was a bit easier than my first go yesterday as this is my second shave getting accustomed to holding a blade in this fashion. Mitchell's Wool Fat for lather & a Route 66 balm finish. Overall, a three-pass shave with some minor contortions as I adapt my angles to best suit this blade. No blood tonight—always a good sign!—just an oh-so-smooth face. :D
    Have a great Sunday, all!
