Mystery May!! FB Day 5, Siete de Mayo, 2016 1959 Gillette Adjustable (mystery blade) L'Occitane Plisson Synthetic Route 66 - Lumberjack Alum TSD ISZ AS Splash - A little every day... The Mighty Osage Have a great weekend!
I guess one step at a time, start him with a DE, and please forgive this shameful suggestion a can of goo to get him started over to the light. That's how I started at first. My Grandfathers DE, some Wilkinson sword blades, and a can of goo. now I have a decent set I think.
My first DE shave was also with goo. Barbados so at least it wasn't a gel. Didn't take long to decide I needed a brush and soap. Now I won't go near the canned stuff. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
I won't either, I think I still have a half a can that's hiding from me somewhere in the bathroom. Honestly though I keep a couple of disposables and that can around for situations like Mr. Freeze had.
Hi Joe! Thanks for the compliment! And welcome to TSD and the 30Day Crew! Some of what you'll read here is fictional/satirical. We'll stop and explain anytime, and don't get confused... We love new guys, and we love shaving! Pain Stick - CJB salon razor or similar The Cartel - a fictional underground group set to uphold the honor of the finest blades in the world. "What's the worst that could happen?" - our motto! I am Chris, the fictional Samurai of the American Prairie, but really I am just a southern kid from Alabama (live near Denver now) who likes to wear overalls and play in the dirt. And we're all glad you're here!
Switching to the DE razor is the big thing! I get perfect shaves from Barbasol Red. Technique trumps tools.
Wait....the Cartel is fictional?!?!?! Does Ivan know that?!?!?! Yuri?!?!?! Hey, I just got those guys back in line. Don't tell them they're not real. That just means the voices in my head are a sign of a real problem.
with the name Like Bama Samurai I figured as much, was just joining in on the fun with the bowing statement. I kind of figured on the rest except the pain stick, and the SWMBO, now that was funny.
Shhhh.... Indoctrinate in Baby steps. The Pope didn't believe Copernicus at first either. Paradigm shift is unsettling...
Yeah, sorry, I got ahead of myself. He'll discover the truth soon enough when he disses some fine Russian steel. Don't tell him though. Surprise is so much more fun.
well I guess you could have guessed but my friends call me Bear, and to be honest that actually is my name, I'm native American, Cherokee, even my mom calls me Yona, That's Bear in Cherokee. Joe is short for Joseph witch is my Christian name.
