    Dove Men Face Wash
    TOBS Lavender
    Jayaruh #46
    Baili BD179 TTO
    Gillette Wilkinson Sword
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Vegetal

The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #46 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Baili BD179 TTO razor with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Lilac Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Chabrawichi 555 Cologne

This cheap Junjie razor is probably the best shaving item which ever came out of China - the damned thing cost me just 2,50$ but it works pretty good, I must say. It's just a bit more aggressive than my Super Speed but I still think it would be ok for a beginner. My Plissoft brush is something else - its performance is off the charts! Inspired by my good friend Kerry I decided to use the Glacial Lemon Chill soap, which is one of the best menthol atom bombs which money can buy. Beautiful scent, great lather and you can't beat its skincare. The Snake Bite aftershave is another awesome iceberg! ;) :D

Well Tomorrow's shave was suppose to be Tabac Tuesday but my BWW order came in a day earlier than I had thought and couldn't resist waiting to give this new one a run for tomorrows shave. Maybe wishful thinking on my part but I sprinkled a couple of drops on my wrist and upon dry down this to me, dare I say to my nose anyway a poor mans English Fern? Pretty darn close and 1/6th the price. The soap did smell different in the tub than the splash but will see what happens when I lather up tomorrow. Oh, full disclosure here, I do have lifelong sinus issues and take 3 meds each day for this problem so maybe the aroma will be different than your olfactory system.

Nothing to worry about, my friend. The setup is frigid but very skin-friendly. The Lemon Chill soap is so moisturizing and soothing with perfect protection against dryness and irritation in addition to how cold it is and the Snake Bite will make you feel like you can conquer the world! ;)

Very nice setup! I have heard great things about BW soaps, and understand that scents can be subjective, but they do have a few that sound like they would smell nice.

    Here is my SOTD:
    My Fav. Merkur Vision 2000
Semogue Italian Barber 2012 Limited Edition
    Krampert's Frostbite
    Perma-sharp 1st run
By the way, I can't have any smelly aftershave due to my wife gave birth a couple of months ago and she is still sensitive about smell... So instead I put together a aloe vera and witch hazel mix into this old glass Listerine bottle.

    Thanks Robert.
I have 11 of his soaps now and 3 I can live with or without. The other 8 definitely staying in my den and four of those I already have backups. Yeah, I like his stuff that much. His aftershaves are very good too and have some staying power, no quick fadeouts with the four that I have in my den and verdict still out on Aladdin's Spice as I haven't opened the bottle or shave soap yet.

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20160509_211947.jpg

    Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss
    Razor: Gillette Tech
    Blade: Laser Ultra (2ND shave)
    Brush: Maggards 24mm synthetic
    Soap: Dapper Dragon Kringle
    Post: Osage Rub/ Stetson

2 pass shave this evening. I like the performance of Dapper Dragon, and no disrespect to them, but this scent is terrible. The wife said it smells like paint thinner, but to me it smells like urinal of a crowded stadium. I really like their new Tiamat and the F&M scent, and I like that they have been coming out with new scents. The Laser Blade has not been working out too well. A lot of scraping to finish the shave. I usually get the best shave on #2-3 so this is not a good sign. This was a very unusual shave to say the least, but tomorrow is another day.

Glad to hear it is good stuff. They are on the list for the Maggard shave meet, which is cool. The Aladdin Spice sounds interesting.

Thank you very much kind sir!

It's a bit too aggressive for my taste - but then I am a mild razor kind of guy. The light weight you get used to...

Stanley, congratulations on the birth of your child and that is a lovely tube radio! :eatdrink047: Have you ever thought of just using unscented Thayers Witch Hazel, along with some unrefined shea butter? Works like a charm! :)
