Feather has a very strong and loyal following. The DE blades are considered the sharpest made and those who use only Feathers put them in a category far and above all other blades. Of course we all know Voskhod is really the king. Anyway......... Feather also makes razors, in particular the Artist Club straight razors and the blades for them. Extremely sharp, but the quality of the razors is top notch. So I was just playing on the whole "Feather attitude". Although it is true they make excellent everything.
Click on the highlighted "What's is a word" in his post for the full thread. Essentially he is saying it is a Gillette Flare tip, not Flair tip. A mistake many have made including myself.
well just got out of my shower and got a really good shave on. Same razor but now I know it's a TV special with a voskhod blade this time. VDH soap and boar brush. This time I went strait to an aftershave, not the balm and man did that wake me back up, some old, Old Spice after shave, Whew. That brought a tear to my eye for a second. but all in all I got a really close shave tonight, best yet, and not a weeper in sight.
William Marvy Omega #5 brush. Ummm......what?! Yep, there's an Ebay seller right now selling a "William Marvy Omega #5" brush. The same William Marvy that makes the fantastic soap (and brush) we've become so well acquainted with. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but Omega makes Omega brushes. William Marvy does not. They are for sale on his website along with the thing he calls a brush. But am I missing something here?
