Excellent shave this early evening. Wood splitting today, and filling the garage with the wood, not finished, but a good start.
This is one of my favorite shave brushes. The Route 66 Cavendish is another amazing soap from Kathleen.

The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #46 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Baili BD179 TTO razor with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Lilac Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Y'know, "bro" is quietly being put into overdrive-ads here in the US(maybe in Canada, too??), have words like "broheeme" and "broteenshake". Amusing to listen to, but makes me glad I'm too old-school to be saying stuff like that. I mean-"bro" is fine, but don't tear it apart.
