    Three Pass Shaving Routine...:cool:

    Hot Water prep & massage with Argan Oil
    Eicker Solingen 7/16th
    Kent BK 2 Pure Badger
    Haslinger Tallow Soap
    Logona Mann Balm

    I had my Maiden Shave Tonight with my Freshly Honed Eicker Solingen 7/16...This is the 1st Time that I have Honed an SR..I have been using Lapping Film for sometime & have been getting good consistent results with SE Hollow Ground & Wedge Blades..:)

    I am currently getting a set of Naniwa Super stones together..I was a Wee Bit Canny Honing this SR..I had to Do One Extra Pass to get the usual results I would Normally get from a Professionally Honed Blade..I have never Shaved with such a Small Blade either..Not quite as Smooth or Keen Edge as I am used to but I had a Darn Close & Irritation Free Shave Tonight..:angelic007:

    I shaved with my newest acquisition this morning, a Hien 650. For once, "shave ready" meant shave ready. I stropped it and got a very nice two pass shave. The blade gave no audible feedback but just wiped away the whiskers. This is my first razor with a Kamisori grind and I initially tried to just shave with the omote side and found it awkward. I finished the shave using both sides and couldn't tell the difference. I really like this razor.

    Wade and Butcher back from Glen. It's ugly, but a great shaver. Add wsp brush and May's focus of Simpsons cream and we have a plan. 4 days growth.

    Humphreys Witch Hazel

    I had a Lovely Shave this Morning with my Eicker Solingen 7/16...After My 1st SR Hone Job & Shave the other day I took it back to 3 Micron & 1 Micron Lapping Film for 50 Sets on each Film...The Blade was a lot Sharper Today & Very Smooth..This Razor has a Very Thin Edge & it offered me a lot more Audible Feedback this Morning...I am Dolphin Smooth & Refreshed..:angelic007:
