I just realized something. I used to think that the Shambala smelled a lot like CK One, but I was wrong. It smells almost exactly like Issey Miyake Pour Homme. No wonder my wife loves it so much when I wear it! She very often wears the woman's version of that scent which I love on her!

Makes me think of Obsession. I guess it was originally meant for ladies, and I do like the way it whiffs through the air as the ladies proceed by. But now there's a man's version.

 

My wife gave it to me as a birthday gift a few years ago. (the men's version, that is!) It's one of the few "young guy" fragrances that I can say I love!

 

the way I see it, my Sherlock leads my Midnight Stag by a couple furlongs(a proper term to use in this Triple Crown season), so I want to work on getting rid of the former. My main goal here is to make my first Stirling purchase by around July 4. Maybe Rod&Amanda do some Independence Day discounts??????

The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #67 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Single Ring razor with a Voskhod blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

This is not good to hear. Folsom & CO makes awesome aftershaves.
