Usps says it's out for delivery. Yahoo for me. Oh wait, yippy for my wife. Maybe I won't tell her for a week or two.
It arrived safe and sound. My observations: It's a very nice looking razor, but the handle sure is slick. But I am not the one doing the first weeks shave. So I will review that later. I noticed the fit was very precise, and I liked the look a lot. If I wre to suggest a change, it would be for a captured screw. I could see one of these accidentally going down the drain. I then decided to load a Chick blade. When I did, the new blade slid in smoothly, but when I pulled the key, the new blade came with it. Hmm. I don't know what caused that. I took care in loading the next one. My wife's observations: She said she loved the razor angle, it was perfect. The handle was very shiny, and slick, because women usually shave in the shower or bath, and the handles get soapy and wet. She said future razors for women should be textured. As for the shave, she said it went smoothly, and loved the way it shaves. She only nicked her knee, slightly, because of the new, very sharp blade. She likes the razor a lot, so far. Thanks, she's a good sport about this. If I handed her the keyboard, she probably would have typed a four page review. She takes everything she does very seriously.
I would like to encourage you to go ahead and pass the keyboard. Woman have a different perspective that we are largely missing in the shaving communities IMO. I bet we learn a thing or two from her first post.
Mrs. DaltonGang: The angle of the razor is perfect. It is very, very sharp. I nicked my knee the first time I used it. It gives the closest, best shave of any razor I have ever used. My only recommendation I have is to add texture to the handle. I love that you don't have to figure out how to hold the razor to shave, since the handle is designed at the perfect angle. Thanks for letting me test it. I will continue using it for a week.
Thank you so much Mrs. DaltonGang For taking the time to shave and review it. Very much appreciated. Enjoy your time with it. Tom
She has had a few days shaving with it, and loves it. She said she would be the first in line to buy one, as long as the price wasn't too high. As you can tell, she really likes it. I hope I can get it away from her, so I can try it.
Mrs. DaltonGang, Final razor review: Great razor and it works extremely well. I did a test today and compared the difference between "The Bunny" razor compared to the Lady Gillette Starburst razor and "The Bunny" razor provided the closest and smoothest shave. Remember to add texture to the handle...that would help. Thanks for letting me try it out and review it.
Mrs. D Thank you so much for taking the time to test and review the Bunny. Glad you enjoyed it. Now let Mr.D have a go with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've never shaved my legs, even when I raced bikes in college. I just couldn't do it. So, not going to happen. Now for my opinion of The Bunny Razor. I have changed my mind on the smooth grip. While shaving, I did not notice the handle being slippery, even when wet. Unlike my wife, I do not get soap all over the razor while shaving. During the shave with a new Schick blade, I noticed the shave delivered a lot of audio feedback. I don't know why. Perhaps the two springs that hold the blade in aren't under as much pressure as the other injectors I have. This could also be why the new blade backs out a little while the injector is being pulled out( The first new blade I put in came out completely, while extracting the injector quickly). The shave angle was easy to find and the handle seemed to be at the correct angle, even if it doesn't look like it from first impressions. The Bunny delivered a very close smooth shave, even under the nose(I wasn't expecting that). For me, I found all my initial worries were unfounded. I like the razor and will continue to evaluate it, over the next week.
Be nice. You know you're up next in the rotation, and I could defile the bunny with a good "Manscaping" shave. Just for you. Heh heh heh(evil laugh).
I have not yet purchased a "new" razor. All my DE's, SE's, and straights are used. I ain't scared of previous users cooties.
