Okay - @SHAVEWIZARD420 made his choice by PM, he picked the Semogue brush, the no-name DE Razor and just a sample of the Maca Root cream, not the whole tub. That means, that @RyX will now have to make a decision which soap he wants Next one in line is @Lo'Gosh
Now @Lo'Gosh made his choice as well ... he takes the GEM, the Edwin Jagger brush and the "remains" of the Maca Root cream. That leaves @RyX with the Rotbart razor, the Body Shop synthetic brush and his CHOICE of either the Arko or the Proraso soap
I already a big fan of Arko, but haven't tried Proraso. I do believe I'd like to see what an Italian green tea scented soap feels like! This will be my first synthetic brush, another fine 3rd choice! The Rotbart razor is from Germany? Totally awesome PIF Sir!
Okay - so Proraso it is. That wasn't so difficult, was it? And yes, Rotbart is a vintage german razor. The company (Roth Büchner GmbH) was founded in Berlin shortly after World War I and later (around 1931) bought by Gillette. The old company buildings are still being used - nowadays Gillette (Procter&Gamble) produces Fusion- Mach3- and Venus blades there. This particular razor model, the #100, has been made either in the late 1950s or the early 1960s. Very lightweight, aluminium handle and acrylic/plastic baseplate. It shaves pretty similar to an Aluminium Tech - very very mild and smooth. So if you don't like it as a shaver it might still be a nice collectible.
Thank you for the awesome PIF, glad to hear things worked out, I figured someone else would like to try the Macca Root. I know I couldn't finish a full tub, and was worried I screwed things up by doing that.
