The Bay Rum soap mix has various Bay Rum samples that get thrown in a container. It makes a great lather and has an interesting Bay Rum scent with a bit of menthol. A great close shave today as the Red Ring and Voshkod mowed down the stubble.

Shower- Noxzema facial cleaner, Dr. Bronner's All-One Hemp Peppermint bar soap
Brush- RazoRock Plissoft
Razor- Muhle R41 on a Maggard MR5 handle
Blade- Sputnik (1)
Soap- TSD London for Men lanolin with M-Bomb
Thayers Witch Hazel with grapefruit EO
AS- TSD Neroli milk followed by Florida Water with M-Bomb

A great Sunday shave today. The Sputnik blade was a new one for me but it worked great. Not quite as smooth as the Personna Red or Voskhod but close. Three passes and I'm BBS with zero irritation. This TSD soap is fantastic, I don't know why the lanolin makes such a big difference but for me it does. So far it's the best soap I've tried. The TSD AS milk is also fantastic, great feeling and scent. Have a great day folks!

AS - Florida Water, "Glacialized

Had a nice overall Sunday shave. Couple of weepers on my neck, but 100% my bad. I so seldom shave with that Super Speed, and it is so mild, if I am not totally focused, I find my technique goes out the window and I am going at myself like I am trying to cut Velveeta with one of those crappy wire cheese slicers. The Route 66 is definitely good soap. Only been a couple of shaves with it, but it sure doesn't take a month of shaves to dial it in or anything. The sample sizes are definitely generous, and I am a pretty big fan of the Sweeney Todd scent.

 

Thank you. Lucky for me that she is funny as hell too, or I would have been tossed out on my behind a long time ago!

SUNDAY SHAVE OF THE DAY



Prep: Musgo Real orange amber
Razor: Gillette Redtip
Blade: Feather (2nd shave)
Brush: RazoRock plissoft
Soap: Barrister & Mann 42
Post: Barrister & Mann Cologne Russe


2 pass shave today, tried the Feather Blade a while back, but the shave today was much smoother than last time. Very sharp blade, I nicked my nose, but other than that it was a decent close shave. The scent of 42 is awesome! Not something I would order from the scent description, but it turned out to be a great scent, a bit floral, but with some sweetness and maybe a touch of citrus, very complex. It paired well with Cologne Russe, which is a sweet floral scent that is somewhat similar to 42. Hope everyone had a great shave!
