What about the Bunny razor by Tom? @twhite It's not for sale yet but it is modern and does use Schick blades.
Nice to know there are a few modern options out there. I always like to have a modern razor of whatever type I am using. I like the look of the Supply Provisions one...not sure how it shaves. It would have to do at least as well as a Schick G Type
Aw, c'mon get on the list. I'm a complete SE rookie and said the same think about "watching", but they twisted my arm and got on the list.
If he goes to production, it's a solid recommendation to buy. If G is your benchmark, you'd dig Bunny V3.
There is a (Chinese?) knock off of the Schick type O (their last injector razor) for sale online for $30 + $5 S&H. It seems to have received good reviews, but I suspect it is a mild razor, and I favor aggressive ones. I have not tried it, so I don't know. The rules say I am not allowed to post the link for it, but you can find it by googling images of Schick Injector Razor type O. It's the 5th image on the 1st row. Donald
I've been looking at some of the modern SE razors and while they are nice and shiny, I realize I like the Schick Type E and G razors because of the art deco design. And because I think the SE razor peaked with the Type G in terms of efficiency and comfort. I know many would disagree with my assessment, but I am very pleased to keep using my Type E and G Schicks. Its hard to beat perfection!
Hello Rusty, As for Schick razors, I agree with you (I like E's over G's), but my favorite injector by far is the Pal adjustable. On it's highest setting (with a cut-down Feather AC Pro blade), it gives me the cleanest shave of them all. The only razor that surpasses it for me so far, is the AlumiGoose Version 2 (with a Feather AC Pro Super blade), but it's not an injector. I have high hopes for the Bunny, and for the forthcoming ATT Bamboo SE1. I do not have the same high hopes for the forthcoming Supply Provision Injector, however. I do not expect it to outperform the Pal adjustable, and I do expect it to be quite heavy.
