So, let me get this straight.....Bama Samurais are from the south.....so even in Japan they're rednecks? Did I interpret that right?
MAYhem 2016 May 16 Razor - Soyuz 1 Blade - (1) Brush - Marvy Soap - Marvy Post - Cold Rinse, Alum, Nivea.......lots of Nivea It's the @DDuckyMark second round today and I have a major hill to climb. Now, before I go further, you'll notice the blade is not the Baili Blue that was drawn. I went to get it from my stash and there is no Baili Blue in there. I have the Green, which I've used and is also in the list, but no blue. Clearly my inventory needs more work. So, to keep things as even as possible, I chose another Chinese piece of.........steel........the Blendax. When I tried this blade a few months ago I remember thinking the Blender would be a better name than Blendax. Horrible, horrible blade. I think the Baili Green might be better. So, with that one minor substitution, it's on to the shave. I head shaved this morning, and I want to say that when I realized that @Mr. Freeze93 was performing complete head shaves with the CJB I was quite impressed. Pointed and laughed a lot, but impressed. I've used the pain stick on the sides of my head, never was crazy enough to try more. If he survives the month he probably deserves a medal. Grabbed the Marvy soap which had been soaking through the head shave and my shower, and grabbed the Marvy brush which is a small, stiff, incredibly poor excuse for a shaving tool. Mine has not continued to shed the way @John Ruschmeyer experienced. Sad, really, because if the flipping thing would fall apart I could stop using it. But, it seems quite intent to stick around. I worked that stiff group of bristles, straw, who knows what into the soap with a light touch. No way to mimic a floppy with this thing. The bowl filled partially with lather, brush seemed full so no reason to wait. I painted it on then did some swirling to try and build a better lather. Picked up the Sino/Soviet combo and made the first stroke. Oh, you're still waiting to see how it went? Is there any doubt in your mind? Do I really have to tell you? Yeah, it was HORRID. But, it's MAYhem and I have to see if there is any possible way I can get a livable shave (while staying alive) with this thing. The Marvy soap was at least a bit helpful on the first stroke but it dries up so fast and runs away even faster so hard to even keep up. Especially when every time I'd start a stroke the ripping and yanking sensation would make me tense up. Finally finished the first pass and, yes, I can tell I made a pass, but it wasn't good. Lathered again, let's go XTG. Not quite as horrid as the WTG because not as much to chew through but still horrible. When I got to my neck I really didn't want to do another pass after this one so I just threw caution to the wind and did the Gillette Slide. Only with a crappy Soviet razor and a worse Chinese blade. What's the worst that could happen? Well, three nicks but nothing serious and....much to my surprise, it was fairly smooth feeling. Not smooth, but it wasn't as bad as I braced for. Finished that little experiment, found CCS, if only just, and said ENOUGH! I could go to work with this shave. I'll look bad in about 8 hours but I'll worry about that then. Well, that was definitely the worst so far for MAYhem. But, I stayed with it and managed to conquer it, if barely. Technique wins again. That I'm happy about. And, I can tell you, that I can think of only one worse thing than using that setup...........
When he yelled "Ahh...Kelly Clarkson!" I literally spit Coca Cola through my nose in the theater. That whole scene was real and filmed as they were waxing his chest. His responses were unscripted, which made it all the funnier the next time I saw it.
May Focus Day 15: Stirling Synthetic Brush Stirling Cool SS Injector Type J Stirling Unscented PSB Brut Classic AS I am still working with this J, and it is still very easy going. I am deciding that I may get quite as close a shave with as some of my other Injectors, but this may be due to a little Injector technique rust on my part. My Stirling shave stick is great. I am wishing I had done this a while ago. I have a few more of the containers left, so I will be making a few more shave sticks.

There's something appropriate about a "Heisenberg Head Shave Dare". I'm in season 5 again. I think episode 6. The DEA is raiding Mike's house while he watches TV. I love that scene.
I honestly see stuff I don't remember when I go back through. I think it's so layered at places that you see part of it and it takes another viewing to see what else was going on.
Me and SWMBO are in season 3 (her first time watching BB and my like 8th or 9th) and we just finished that 3rd episode of season 3 where Walt is making dinner and Skyler said those 3 words... SWMBO right of that bat goes "please tell me they kill off that waste of life" as soon as she says it.
