Maybe I missed it in the many pages of comments but when and where will this razor be sold for the general public? I like the differentness of it and for the cost I think I want one.
Did Rocnel actually listened to the customers suggestions that the heads need to be little wider. Is it just me or the razors on the left and right black & gold have wider head vs the one in the middle that had the bronze color? Edit: Where can we find more info on durability for the titanium coating, price info?

I have tried previously sending message to them but never got answer back, they probably get tons of them. That's why I never tried to message again, just waiting for the razor receipt to arrive in my email.
He is aware of the customers' requests, but from what I understand from his previous writings is that if the head is designed wider there will be no problem with inserting the blade but it would be compelling to remove the blade. I saw some videos on Youtube and online posts within last 1 month. It seems some people are receiving smooth finish handle while some have received knurled finish handle. Pictures on that website are with both handles. I have question for anyone who has received one recently from extrashaving(dot)com; which handle did they ship it with?
Do you know what size the set screw that holds the head and handle together is? If its 10/32 then you can mount the head on most DE handles and a replacement screw will be easy to get in the event you lost the original.
Monday's Maiden voyage with the Rocnel SE. Was not as rough as I expected using a new razor with a head type that I have never experienced before. I did 3 passes (WTG, XTG both directions), then some ATG cleanup in my trouble areas. During the first pass I had some difficulty getting the appropriate angle and it resulted in a small weeper on my upper lip. But the angle was found during the next pass and the rest of the shave went smoothly. Will definitely need to work on technique with this razor though. I really like the heft and feel of the razor, it is heavy and solid. But the head is also very heavy, so I think it could use either a lighter head or a little more weight in the handle to counter the heavy head a little. Maybe it needs to be longer or shorter. I didn't have any issues loading a snapped in half GSB, and the slight over hang on each side with the blade didn't have a negative impact on the shave whatsoever. I'll know more about the razor when I have more experience with it. Have a great day folks!
