That actually sounds like an improvement over the Tiger-3H blades from CzechBlades. These almost sound usable with a mild enough razor.

Pre: shower and face wash with Nivea face wash
Razor: Gillette TV Special:
Blade: GSB (4th day)
Soap: Haslinger Sandalwood
Brush: TGN Badger in olive wood handle

Post: Cold water rinse, Maggard Alum block, Wal-Mart witch Hazel, Gillette sensitive after shave lotion

Tonight was a very good and close shave, the closest I think to date despite using the GSB for a 4th day. I concentrated on riding the cap and the grain of my beard, started with the first pass WTG, the second pass was XTG, and the third pass was ATG. At the end I did very minimal touch ups. I followed that up by a cold water rise and a run of the alum block over my face. I got a little tingling with the alum and then used my witch hazel. I was able to pick up some Gillette after shave lotion today to try and got a very slight burning sensation for just a few seconds, I'm guessing it had some alcohol in it. All in all I'm very pleased with this shave, I think it is my best shave yet!

Thanks Neal, I thought I would run the GSB one last day because I'm planning on a fresh blade tomorrow with my new (to me), Aristocrat. I'm anxiously anticipating the shave with it tomorrow night.

 

Well GSB is a blade that can go the extra shaves. I have no problem stretching them to 4 or even 5 shaves. Same with the Voskhod. Can't wait to see that Aristocrat and see what you think of it. Fine, fine razor.

 

Yea I've heard so much about how good they are, I'm anticipating my best shave to date tomorrow. I'm going to take what I've learned in here, and my best shave products and use them to get maybe my first BBS shave, thanks to everyone in this thread.
