    The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #18 silvertip badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Eversharp-Schick G1 razor with a Schick Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Clubman. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Razor- Muhle R41 on a Maggard MR5 handle
    Blade- Personna Blue (2)
    Soap- Route 66 Barbershop HOP with M-Bomb
    Thayers Witch Hazel with grapefruit EO and M-Bomb
    AS- Florida Water with M-Bomb

    Another great shave by the Personna Blue. It made my choice for top blade of the month much more difficult. This Route 66 soap is fantastic; great lather, scent and protection. Plus I absolutely love the scent. I added a bunch of M-Bomb to everything tonight and I was sufficiently frozen. Three passes to a great BBS shave. Have a great day folks!

    Blade: Big Ben (4th shave)
    Brush: RazoRock plissoft
    Soap: Soap Smooth- Frankincense & myrrh
    Post: Osage Rub/ Reef Point Dragons Blood Balm


    2 pass shave tonight, love the scent of this soap. It has a genie lamp on the label, and it does have a ancient middle eastern vibe to it, excellent scent. Whipped up a nice lather with the Plissoft. The blade still felt good, but was not performing as well as yesterday. Still ended up with a nick free shave, so no complaints. Hope everyone has a great shave!

    Happy Monday everyone. If you are a lavender fan, then the MW Lavender smells fantastic. The scent along with the wonderful slick lather makes the shave much more pleasurable. The Mongoose/Feather Super Pro continues to deliver the near BBS in 2 passes with touch ups. I really couldn't ask for much better. A splash of Myrsol F/Extra finished the shave off in fine fashion.

    H2G2 Monday with a little menthol
    42 is so good I had to return to it today. I got some menthol from Proraso White. Once again, the soap exploded quickly into thick lather, which I built on my face with the Futur brush. Three passes on five later, and my skin looks and smells great. I finished with the matching splash.

    Prep: Proraso White
    Soap: B&M 42
    Brush: Futur
    Razor: Futur
    Blade: Voskhod
    AS: B&M 42
