I'm doing it! I'm growing a moustache!

You never know who will say what concerning a handlebar or similarly-styled mustache.
I've had positive comments (or thumbs up) made to me from both men and women (most of the men were younger— i.e. 20s-30s and the majority of women, 50+).
I did have one young woman working at a food truck comment to me:
"Oh, you got one of those fancy mustaches. It must take like forever to fix it like that. And don'cha have to, like wrap it up at night?"
Me: "Ummm…no. No wrapping necessary. Thank you."

 

There's this girl who works at the gas station I see almost every night who always says, hey the coolest guy in the place! Or it's the moustache man! She thinks it's cool. Then some older ladies have given me compliments. My younger guy friends all love it. Older guys, they just look at me funny usually. Only one guy in his 60s I'd say, told me he wished he could have one like me.

It's fun, to see people's reactions.

I take back my earlier statement... this^ is dapper. (Still need a top hat tho... )

 

I started growing it first week of new year, so over 5 months. It took about 3 months to get it to this point though. I've been trimming it since. Or else it'd be huge lol

Separated at birth?!

 

Started growing mine the day after high school graduation (1975). Couldn't have one in school, a Jesuit H.S. Haven't been without since, but added a goatie some time ago.

 

Haven't trimmed the curls any. Mostly because it's a pain. But they're getting long!
