If he masters those, he'll have perfect shaves! Very cool! Did you get to show him lather and shave techniques?
Yes, he lives about 5 hours from me but we've been working on it for about 8 months now, whenever we can get together. Simple pleasures!
SOTD May 27, 2016 Injector/SE Focus Prep: Warm shower Blade: Chinese Schick (8) Razor: Schick G1 Injector Brush: Artisan badger with hand-turned maple handle Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Fine Platinum, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, XTG Fat Friday! I'm trying not to bore you guys, but another shave with the G1 and another great result. I had great lather from Mitchell's Wool Fat and the terrific artisan badger brush. The Chick blade still feels great on shave number 8. I'll probably go to 10 shaves before changing it out. I have some Pella blades to try soon as well! I mixed a little Fine Platinum in with my witch hazel and finished off with Nivea sensitive balm. A great shave to kick start a long weekend. Have a great Friday!
Very nice Idea. From 1st of june I'm going to shave whole month with Nivea sensitive cream. poslato sa LG L65
Absolutely wonderful shave this morning. I am somewhat sad to say that the jury has returned the verdict and cold water shaves are just not for me. After whipping up a nice cloud of Arko lather the red tip glided across my face like a figure skater. For me the shave was 10 times more comfortable then the past 3 that I had with cold water. The only issue that I had was a small nick on my neck that was all my fault for trying to wield the razor like a Rapier. Another thing I noticed is that with the TTO Gillettes the angle required to ride the cap is so shallow that it feels unnatural, I think I am beginning to understand that I much prefer the head geometry of a 3 piece over the superspeeds. In either case the baby was waiting for me at the end of the third pass and a great shave was had! Have a fantastic Friday and a great Memorial Day weekend everyone! I know I for one will be going to visit the graves of my grandparents, two very special people who had a huge impact on my life!
Straight Mayhem Another nice shave today. I followed it up with Captain 's Choice Bay Rum and got a thumbs down from my wife. She likes the Ogallala and Saint John's Bay Rums, but not this one. I'm glad it's a sample rather than a full size bottle. Route66 Perfect Storm soap Doug Korn brush Hien 650 razor Alum Proraso AS Balm Captain's Choice Bay Rum Happy Friday!
May Focus Day 26: Stirling Synthetic Brush Stirling Bay Rum SS Injector Type J Stirling Unscented PSB Stirling Bay Rum AS Another great shave with the Injector this morning. It was definitely a little quick, but having some Stirling in shave stick form really helps. All in all a great way to get me ready for work this Friday. I hope everyone has a great day.
Just a quick check in. The @Joe Babb shave is in the books. Thank heavens. I'll report tonight and also have tomorrow's final MAYHEM setup courtesy of @Linuxguile. Have a great day! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
Your chickening out of MAYhem early? Shame on you!!! Well seeing as I didn't want to be the first to call it quits early I am out as well... I have butchered myself the most this month so I think I have earned the right to make an early exit. Last MAYhem shave tonight. Tiger in the Old Type.... DRY SHAVE!!!!! No lather, no water, no oil nothing.
You underestimate my stupidity commitment. I am quite amazed as well. I know a lot of people would have called it quits my first shave this month. Once my face and scalp fully heal I plan on enjoying June with my Goose.
