I need to power through some VDH Deluxe so I can free up an Old Spice mug for the new Stirling Gin and Tonic puck in my cabinet. Might need to break out the Omega 48 to shorten the time span.
Well, my Proraso red still isn't finished. It has a nice halo, maybe more like a donut, but it's not through yet. It might have one more week left. I really want to use my Stirling glacial orange!
I'm going to join in here if you don't mind. Haven't been sticking with one soap much more than a week lately but I finished off a tube of CO Bigelow a couple weeks ago and it felt good. So I started in on a partial puck of TSD soap, using it like a shave stick and there's only about a third of it left so I'm going to try to stick with it until it's gone. After that, who knows but I think I'm sticking with the heavy menthol stuff for the summer. It's 105 here already so I think I'm gonna need it.
I finished the VDH today! It was a great soap in the end. I didn't care for it a while back but figured out which brush to use and how much water and that made all the difference. The remnants: We don't see that very often!
I just finished off my Proraso red after a little over 4 months of using it daily. Finally! Great soap! I'm on to my Stirling orange chill. I'll use it till it's done. It will likely go till October.
I forgot to update on this thread. I have finished off the TOBS Lavender on June 9. The TOBS Lavender is officially done. One hundred forty-one officially documented shaves. There may have been more. That is almost five months of shaves from a tub of TOBS Lavender.
Finally used up the proraso green!!! Last time I buy this. Never ever did I get any type of slickness out of it. It always left my skin super dry.
They've only been in business for a little over 2 years. I don't think that's long enough to get very far down one of their tubs.
