    Haha I should!

Only problem is I don't have your magically balancing hardware!

My razors and brushes would take a lot of damage falling out of trees!

    Hoffritz Slant
    SOC Boar
    Brutalt Bra
    Feather (3)
This was my first shave with the Hoffritz. I shaved with a Merkur 37C, so I felt confident it would be a familiar feeling. Right and wrong. The geometry of the razor is almost exact. Perhaps it is exact, I don't know. I no longer have my 37C with which to compare. The Hoffritz is heavier; the handle has a really great tactile feel that's secure, almost sticky.
I have to also say that my first shave with the Brutalt Bra had a significant case of user error. :scared003: I broke my own rule because I simply hadn't loaded enough product on my brush, but I fixed that today. I loaded the SOC Boar for at least 60sec. then went to the face.
I worked that soap like no other. :sexe: , pushing the limits as to how much water I could incorporate. But I got a very slick lather that, when I felt the Feather blade torqued to its limits, mow down the stubble, I was very glad that I took the time to work this lather. I seems like the Hoffritz may have a wider blade gap, but I am just guessing. There's not a lot of information available out there. Suggestions :signs002:
I decided against chasing the baby, so I quite after 2 passes. DFS. Skipped the Witch Hazel, went right for the Floïd, nice tingle, but nothing crazy. No nicks, weepers, nor irritation. On a whim, I sprayed a few times with my vintage Pierre Cardin EdT. Works. New thing, maybe.

Another close comfortable shave tonight. One of my favorite brushes with the Envy White Knot. Whipped up a great Casablanca lather, which was followed by Shambala (inspired by @crackstar) one of my favorite aftershaves. Enjoy your evening.

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20160601_185338.jpg

    Prep: Musgo Real orange amber
    Razor: Gillette Fatboy (5)
    Blade: Crown (3rd shave)
    Brush: Semogue boar
    Soap: Ginger's Garden- Haight Ashbury
Post: Osage Rub/ Mickey Lee soapworks- Italian Stallion aftershave milk

2 pass shave this evening. Went with the Haight Ashbury soap which has a patchouli type scent, but is pretty conplex. Whipped up a decent lather with the Semouge, made sure to soak the brush and squeeze the excess water out. The bristles have been feeling softer with each shave, which is a good thing. The Crown Blade may be getting old, it was dragging a bit and had some burning on the 2nd pass. Finished off with Italian Stallion milk, wonderful stuff loaded with good ingredients. Hope everyone had a great shave!

    Dove Men Face Wash
    TOBS Lavender
    Jayaruh #30RS Silver Tip
    Schick Krona
    Personna Blue Super Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Speick After Shave

This will be the 134th documented shave with the TOBS Lavender. Going to use it until it is gone...

The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #30RS silvertip badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Krona razor with a Personna Blue Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Speick After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
