Came home to Colorado with a beauty waiting in my mail box and since I skipped my morning shave gave it a go tonight. A very smooth and efficient razor. Only issue I had was shaving too quickly to get myself in bed on time which resulted in two small weepers on my chin but no other issues. Alum was even quiet on my neck.

Pretty sure it is a type I but I may be wrong

You are correct Sir! The type 'I' was my introduction to shaving......and it's been a favorite ever since.....Congratulations.....They work great with all injector blades....I dig the one like yours, without the Hydro-magic lever, with every blade, from the new Personnas to the Schick Twins, and eveything in between...

    Blade: Pella injector, Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 Injector
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: VDH Luxury
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Skin Bracer, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

Started off with the Pella blade again like yesterday. It wasn't very comfortable. It's definitely sharp but doesn't feel smooth to me whatsoever. It tugged on my neck again pretty badly. So I struggled through the first pass and then injected a new Chick blade into the G1. Went back for touch-ups on the jaw and neck with much better results. The auditory feedback was much closer to a velcro sound and everything felt much smoother. I guess the Pella blades just aren't for me. As always, YMMV.

The VDH soap is nearing its end. I think I'll get two or three more shaves out of it. It's been an excellent soap once I figured out the water ratio and began using the big boar brush. I've really enjoyed it.

Hope you all have a good day!

I have come to the same conclusion about the pella blades. Just too rough for my face. The Chick blades are great though

How often have you used your Bv3? how has it held up to multiple shaves?

well, my Schick G model finally arrived via pony express! It was worth the wait.

The razor was disgusting when I opened the package, but 10 minutes of cleaning got me this!

I've been shaving with the eversharp E model all week and it's an awesome razor. I love the shaves I get out of it. I'll take the G out for a spin tomorrow!

I used it almost exclusively for 2 months. Now I tend to use it twice a week. Mine is holding up fine. The pass arounds are taking much more abuse. That wad the plan though. I need to find the weak areas that show up over time with different people.

i know on my next version i will fix the spring. I will be going back to 3 mounting points like the V1. Two in the front to hold the spring really secure. I will also make a few samples of the new version and sandblast and hard black anodize them. I want to see if it helps with the grip that some people are concerned with.

Not sure what else will arise later in the pass around. I need lots of feedback good and bad.

he Bunny that is coming back to me for a second go round looks to be in great shape. I can't wait to use it for another week. I like the idea of black anodize model. I myself had no trouble with the grip.
