Mongoose Owners Razor Society (MORS)

Okay I've got it now. Brain went for a nap.

 

Being American made, I believe the thread size used in the Mongoose (both SS and Aluminum) is 10-32.

The Metric size given earlier in the thread is correct. It is pretty much the standard for most modern razors.

 

New razor arrived today.

Yes I do. I still need to take that picture of my handles. I like the original handle it came with I just prefer a heavier handle.

 

No rush. Your picture would probably just tweak my interest in handles. Is there a a handle disorder?

 

I most certainly have HAD and while I embrace it fully, it didn't start until I got my Goose so I don't think we are too blame.

First shave with the Alumigoose, what a treat it was. Right out of the box loaded a Feather Professional and bam, a darn near BBS. I was a little surprised at the width of the head. Just a different look, wasn't ready for it. I matched the 10098 with the Retro Spice, a match made in heaven. I saw Mark's post with the 10098 which I can remember how long it has been since I used that brush, so I put it to work.
Outstanding shave.

Congrats! Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts as you start using heavier handles. The goose is my favorite se but haven't decided if I like my SS (batch 3) or black alumigoose (v2) better.
