    Razor - Feather SS
    Blade - [IMG] (2)
    Soap - Tabac
    Brush - BoS Omega 10066
Post - Cold rinse, Alum, The Veg

Well the day finally ended. Nothing like having a customer with a problem roll up just as you're logging off of the computer for the day. Added about a half hour to the day but they think I'm totally amazing and can't believe how easy it was to solve their problem. Guess I'm just a really, really, really nice guy. (Got a few ex-wives who would rebut that, but I digress).

Shave this morning was good. Still working on getting the Feather SS back under control. I'm not really sure if it's the grip difference or the lip on the blade holder that is creating a bit of a challenge. Maybe a bit of both. No major issues, just extra effort to attain and hold the correct angle, and angle is everything with this beast. I got a fantastic Tabac lather with the BoS as usual and had it a little extra wet to add a bit of extra slickness. Wound up with a nice DFS with two passes and quite a bit of cleanup on the neck. Alum verified I spent a lot of time there. Ouch! But, no blood, so on went the Veg (ouch again) and off to work I went.

I feel like it will come back under control within the next shave or two. My plan is to move to a TSR next week but I may delay a day or two and try the Greager again to see if I can figure out what is really puzzling me about these two.

Hope you all had a good hump day! And for me, I'm glad Monday is OVER!! The temperature here is going UP the next few days so I'll be looking out for these guys!

    Stephan Bay Rum A/S

First shave with the Durham it requires quite a steep angle with the cap almost flat on your face once I got that right my normal three pass shave went off without a hitch! The head on this razor covers a lot of real estate in one pass that took some getting used to also, But all in all not a bad shave pretty darn close to a BBS but not Quite I'd say DFS++++:happy088:

My shave was generally pretty good, though for some reason this blade (only 5 days old) is giving me trouble. I usually can get 10 days easily out of a Schick blade, but this one is causing me a bit of grief. A few small weepers. The lather was great, prep was good...so I don't understand why. I will try it one more time tomorrow and if it pulls or gives me any trouble I will switch over to a DE and a GSB. Always a guarantee of smoothness and delight.:chores016:

Good morning guys. Very enjoyable shave this morning with the Red Tip, Tabac paved the way beautifully with it's outstanding cushion and glide. Finished off with my freezing Glacial Lemon Chill Balm and I'm ready to face the world. Have a great day friends. :D

The big boar whipped the Perfect Storm into a mountain of rich slick lather in short order. I last used the Feather Super Pro blade in the AlumiGoose V1 back in January. While I managed to get through a couple of shaves with the combo, I didn't find the shaves that comfortable. I decided to revisit the combo today. The AlumiGoose V1/Feather Super Pro combo is certainly a much more aggressive pairing than my Mongoose B2 with the same blade. With a base of rich slick lather, I went with a 2 pass shave, XTG &ATG, paying attention to my trouble spots as I went. With just a few touch ups, I managed to end the shave with a exceptionally close BBS shave. Finished the shave with a splash of Fine L'Orange. I hope everyone has a fantastic Thursday.

I am getting better at squeezing out less balm than too much. As I've said, not much fragrance(though they say "light Rise original"), but you get good qualities for a soft, healthy skin.

Good morning friends. Great shave today! First shave with the Hydra that was so generously gifted to me by Guy @ram57 . This soap smells amazing. On first sniff my nose picks out mostly lemon but as the aroma develops the other citrus scents make an appearance with with a subtle zestyness that I cant quite put my finger on and then followed up by some slight floral notes. This soap smells delicious! The Platinum performed well for me today, definitely sharper then the Nacet and Ruby, but not quite Top Tier. Two passes for a DFS. Have a great day my friends!
