    Friday's
    zcws.gif

    Dove Men Face Wash
    TSD Iced Lime
    Jayaruh #77 Synthetic
    Bunny V-3
    Schick Injector
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Pinaud Clubman

This was my first shave with a TSD Shaving Soap. The Iced Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my new Jayaruh #77 Synthetic brush. It also rinses very clean and has just the right amount of menthal: nice cooling effect. The lime scent is delicious. Two passes and touch ups with the Bunny V-3 razor with a Schick Stainless Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  4. SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20160609_185445(0).jpg

    Prep: Occams crushed lime
    Razor: Gillette Black Beauty
    Blade: Ladas super stainless
    Brush: omega s synthetic

Soap: Wholly Kaw- Lav Sublime Concerto
    Post: Stephans Island Lime

2 pass shave today. Went with the tallow WK soap, big fan of the vegan soap, and the tallow version seems to be even better. The lather was shiny and glistened in the light, something I haven't noticed in a long time. The scent is stronger on the lime side, which is a good thing IMO, not a big lavender fan, but it makes the lime scent even stronger. Got a great BBS shave. Hope everyone else had a great shave!
  5. Great setup! Ladas in a Black Beauty is a winning combo for me. :)

  6. Great to hear this combo worked well for you as well. I tried these blades a while ago but recently got a few from @Marverel PIF, and they have been working out great so far. Much better than some other Russian blades I have tried.

  8. The Ladas and the GSB are the only blades I plan to continue buying now. :D

  12. GSB's are pretty hard to beat IMO have you tried Pol-Silver or Perma-Sharp? They are up there with GSB.

  14. I loved Polsilver's till I tried Ladas and GSB's. Haven't tried Perma's yet :)

  15. Yea I would put the GSB just above the Pol-silvers as well. It seems like the premium blades last longer (more shaves).

  20. Thursday Shower/Shave
    [IMG]
Shower- Noxzema facial cleaner, Dr. Bronner's All-One Hemp Citrus bar soap
    Brush- RazoRock Tri-Colored
    Razor- The Bunny
    Blade- Schick (1)
    Soap- Route 66 Barbershop Hop
Post Care- Thayers Witch Hazel with grapefruit EO and M-Bomb
    Nivea Sensitive AS balm

Wow! What a fantastic shave! This was my first ever injector shave and the Bunny left me dolphin smooth. I used the Mild comb and three passes and I don't know if I've ever had a closer shave. The Route 66 as usual offered up a wonderful, slick and protective lather and The Bunny mowed through two days of growth like it was nothing. The only bad part was one small weeper on the corner of my mouth but if I have a problem, it usually shows up there. I love this razor and I'm looking forward to more shaves with it. Have a great day folks!
