SoS: June 6, 2016 - June 12, 2016

I took a break from the wedges today and picked up an F. I paired it with a Plus Platinum NOS blade which normally leaves me unimpressed. However, in the F it is a match made in heaven and the blade really shines. Everything about this shave was smooth, easy, and close. The F is such a classic that it never gets old.

Today's shave with the F was like a cool breeze on a hot day - refreshing, uplifting, and relaxing - and no effort required. Just the inspiration I needed.

RazoRock Tuscan Oud today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Sivertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. I loaded a new Perma-Sharp Super in the Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with RazoRock Tuscan Oud.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Today's shave went very well. It was the first time I use this blade. Very nice, smooth and sharp. When doing final touch ups I lost focus and slid the blade sideways a little at the corner of my mouth. Ended up being a smooth comfortable but nevertheless very red shave.

A leisurely shave this morning listening to Internet radio sermons from England. The Sherlock has a great scent profile and produces minds of thick slick lather. The Flare Tip Rocket is very good at removing facial hair and I am BBS and feeling wonderful. Have a blessed day everyone.

It is chilly and damp here today, and I just wasn't much in the mood for the cold summer shaves I have been doing lately. I little digging in the drawer, and I found this one from last fall. It's a clean scent, and I can't put my finger on why, but it reminds my of something vintage: Grandma's towels or her laundry room or something. It isn't as outdoorsy to me as a name like Autumn Glory would suggest, but it is very fresh. I wouldn't have said it was any sort of a favorite, but I used up three fourths of a puck last fall/winter, so it must have something going on.
