Thanks for posting this. I don't think that the razors I have are truely "shave ready" based on this video as that is what I would or should expect. My DE's will give me this kind of shave but no straights have yet but that could be me being fairly new at it and not having the perfect angle yet.
Room acoustics may contribute some, but a full-hollow razor is quite noisy and add in a full beard to slice through = a noisy shave. A true 'shave-ready' razor should leave a clean and über-smooth swath where it removes both whisker and lather in a single pass. Poor technique may inhibit the desired result OR a blade that needs to be touched -up may be to blame for less than BBS results (in single pass).
