I believe it's that thing the six old people ahead of me in line at the grocery store use to pay with. And they don't start writing anything down until everything is totaled up.

Shave report later. Involves slipping either the electric trimmers while trimming the lip whiskers, deciding to shave it off for the third time in my adult life, too much M-bomb, using a razor I am not used to, and menthol on sensitive skin. Hope mine is as entertaining as I expect @Mr. Freeze93 's report.

I can't speak on Arko or the La Toja Stick, But I have shaved with TSD Special and Route 66 Sweeny Todd and the MWF and I find them all to preform well along with several others. I have also tried Williams and a couple of others that did not preform well at all. I still have a puck I need to try Sassy Alberts Vetiver but was told it doesn't later well so I haven't tried it yet. I hope to try the Arko and La Toja stick sometime in the future.

I'm going out tonight and used that as an excuse for a second shave. @Joe Babb sent me a sample of his favorite Gillette 7 O'Clock Green Super Stainless blade. I loaded the blade in my Monobilt and did a leisurely two pass shave. What a nice blade! I found the blade sharp and smooth. It will stay on my list as a definite keeper. Thanks Joe!

I can get MWF to lather just fine, but it makes me itch and burn. If I could tolerate it better, I might use it. My only caution with Arko is that it maight possibly dry your skin out a bit, so go light on prep with Arko. Route 66 is easy and reliable, and has a great skinfeel, though Lumberjack is the only scent I've tried. The unscented R66 might be in my future as just a good everyday soap.

Decided to pick up the GD again today as yesterdays shave went very well. I was feeling brave, confident, and overall happy... I should have known of my impending doom....

Did my usual routine of soaking my brush and blooming The Fat. Got out the shower and started to load the brush up. Load for about 20-30 seconds and start to face lather. Get the lather on the old mug just how I like and dry my hands off and pick up the 208. First pass WTG went perfect as did my first XTG pass (I do two XTG passes... each one in the opposite direction). Felt around and I have a DFS. Could have and should have stopped there but I decided to lace up my running shoes and chase the baby. Start my second XTG pass and for some reason I start to zone out and snapped to attention as soon as I caught the edge of the blade into my ear. Too late... I felt it dig in... no blood yet but I know what is coming.... with flashbacks to MAYhem running frantically through my mind I put the str8 down and wipe off the lather I have on my face and grab the styptic. As soon as I hit it with water it started gushing. It took a good 3 minutes to get the blood to stop with the styptic. At this point I am irritated at myself for allowing this to happen but blood or no blood I came for the baby and I aint leaving without it.

Relather and finish my second XTG with no further problems. Feel around and I have the baby in my sights. Lather up for my ATG pass and it all goes great until the last bit near my cheek/ear area... Guess who knicked his cut back open? Yup. Got too close to it and restuck it. Lovely... As blood started flowing again I put the blade down again and reached for the styptic again. Getting the blood to stop with one hand I felt around my face and neck with the other. I caught the baby!!!! Start doing my post shave routine of a cold water rinse, Alum, Styptic, Thayers, more styptic, and more Thayers. After the blood and tears where gone I tossed on a good old handful of The Veg and it felt great!!!! Except for the tiny puddle that got chucked on the cut.

Was going to post a picture of the cut as it is pretty gnarly but the wife is attached to the tablet so until then here's a picture to hold you over.
