    Happy Father's Day
    My Dad lit in me a love for baseball that continues to this day. The first player who stoked my passion for the game was Mark Fidrych. He was a sensation in his rookie year, though injuries shortened his career. I had the pleasure of meeting him and getting his autograph during the final season at Tiger Stadium in 1999. My wife bought me season tickets that year as a wedding gift. He was still happy and humble as I remembered when I was a child.
    The shave was another great one with Tabac.

    I had a Wonderful Shave this Morning with My Puma 6/8th..The Blade on this is Very Thin by Design & Seems to Hug the Contours of the Face..It has a Real Keen Edge & I Just Love these Scales..They remind me of a Camouflaged German Panther Panzer Tank from the 2nd World War..:)

    Needed menthol after a long bike ride - I was not disappointed.
    I used the Rockwell blade yesterday but it did not impress much, so I opted for a fresh Astra today.
    The Omega is just humongous :D But nice and soft.
    Finished off with a near BBS that felt just great!    ​

    Happy Father's Day. The shave this morning was a great way to start the day. The MdC practically lathered itself and I enjoyed the scent. Sticking with a 2 pass routine followed by minimal touch ups ended with a near BBS shave. I finished off with a splash of Fine Platinum. I am off to get a morning motorcycle ride in before spending the afternoon with my wife and daughters. I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday.

    Although I had to shave fast it was still very enjoyable. (and VERY frigid!) The Glacial MITA soap delivered on the great lather and its wonderful, potent freeze. The Krampert's Frostbite aftershave felt like heaven afterwards! For this coming week I'm still debating on whether to continue with my Junjie or go back to my Super Speed. :happy088: :happy088:

    Mastro Livi CarboInox KamiRazor​

    What a smooth shave! Yesterday I went to Mastro Livi's workshop and he made this magnificent straight razor for me of which I am very proud of. It is made of CarboInox - the artisan damascus steel Mastro Livi conceived by using both carbon and martensitic stainless steel - and for which I conceived the name: KamiRazor. It basically is a kamisori blade to which has been mounted "western style" scales in order to protect the edge and make it safer to handle when closed. This is the third name I suggested Mastro Livi for his works - Grifetto, CarboInox and now KamiRazor - and I am very proud of this. This KamiRazor has abalone scales with coral and white mother of pearl inserts having the color of Perugia, my beloved city where I was born. As for the rest, my shaving soap proved to be, once again, a super performing soap, absolutely velvety and giving a super luxurious lather. Superb top notch shave!​
