Under the nose with a Momgoose, I have no idea. With a straight I use my free hand to move my nose out of the way then I start with almost a perpendicular angle. Use extremely light pressure and decrease the angle as you go down. Across the grain is easier from middle to ear just remember to move you nose out of the way. ATG or fools pass, I use my fee hand to hold the tip of the razor and then I move my face and not my hands to shave. Remember to stop before your reach your nose. Plus stretch your lip over your teeth to create a flat surface.

    June Focus Day 18:

    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    TSD Lanolin Egyptian Spice
    W&B Congress Razor
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Stirling Bay Rum AS

Happy Father's Day to all Denzians. I had a great shave with the W&B Congress this morning. I did a full two passes with a little extra clean up, ending with a BBS. The TSD Lanolin Egyptian Spice was as great as ever, and the Bay Rum AS paired nicely with it. My wife and kids brought me some breakfast in bed this morning, so the day is reaffirmed to a great start. I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday.

    Brush- RazoRock Tri-Colored
Razor- The Bunny with Wild comb
    Blade- Schick (5)
    Soap- Route 66 Barbershop Hop
    Post Care- Crystal Alum
Thayers Witch Hazel with grapefruit EO and M-Bomb
    Florida Water with M-Bomb

Happy Father's Day! A glorious shave today, I think this one might have been my best ever. I loaded up the Wild comb today to tackle 3 days of growth. The blade went through my beard like a hot knife through butter. Effortless shave, no pulling or tugging, zero blood and the alum and Florida Water were both silent. This is the shave I need to replicate when the Bunny moves on. The Barbershop Hop performed flawlessly, wonderful scent and excellent protection. I took my time today and did three passes. My wife has a wonderful day planned for me. I'm getting ready to have some of the bacon maple biscuits she made yesterday. In about an hour I have a masseuse coming to the hour for an hour deep tissue massage. Then for dinner she's making me her famous ribs and potatoes. I'm a happy man today! Have a great day folks!

Happy father's day everyone. Had a repeat shave with the New SC and Rapira SS. Man that is a sweet combo! 3 passes BBS and no irritation. The alum was quiet and so was the AS. Have a fabulous day!

Great razor, Chris. I love those Paul Revere models, and it is really cool that it was your dad's.

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there! Had a nice relaxing shave up until my kids tried to kill me....

Razor: CJB/Feather Pro (1)/ Alumigoose V2/Kai ( 35th and dead) as a save me razor
    Brush: Stirling 24mm Finest
    Lather: The Fat
Post Shave: Maggard Alum Bock/Styptic/Thayers/More Styptic/More Thayers
Aftershave: Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm/The Veg

Decided to break out the Pain Stick for a nice relaxing shave. Popped in a new Feather Pro blade and started loading the brush. 15-20 second load of The Fat resulted in a ton of lather. Face lathered and picked up the pain stick and got to work. 3 beautiful passes later (WTG,XTG, and XTG in the other direction) and I have the baby in my sights. No nicks, no irritation... things are going great!!! Lather up for my final pass (ATG) and start going to town. Get my cheeks and jawline done and I am dolphin smooth!!!! All that is left is the neck... I couldn't believe how nice and easy things where going.... don't get me wrong weather I knick myself or not I get great shaves with the pain stick but I have yet to have a hiccup free shave with it so far and yet here I am.... a few swipes away from a glorious victory!!! I start going over my thank you speech and all that good stuff... I have happy tears in my eyes as I inch closer and closer to the winning circle....

And then all hell breaks loose....

I hear the ear shattering scream something similar to a banshee or the shriek an angry SWMBO may let out when you stumble in half drunk from the bar at 4 in the morning smelling of women's perfume and have lip stick on your collar except this was worse as it was coming from my daughters room... and the scream was let out just as I started on my neck....

I jolted and ran out of the bathroom into the other room to see who was dead and what could be salvaged...

In the middle of my room I see my 4 year old daughter.... screaming at her cup.....

    "Daddy!!!!!"

    "What is wrong?!?!?!"

"Declan (my son) drank all my juice!!!! *Another scream* Daddy your bleeding!!!!!"

I quickly save the world (get her more juice) and head back into the bathroom to see the damage. I knew it wasn't going to be pretty as when I ran out my hands went up further into my neck and the CJB hung around in my neck for a good 2-3 steps before it fell out onto my shirt and onto the floor. I looked down and saw I had a decent amount of blood on my chest as well.

While it is not long it is deep (The CJB literally was hanging in my skin when I ran out for a few steps) and it is gushing pretty well. Finally get the blood to slow down and grab the goose to finish my neck. BBS but this thing was refusing to stop bleeding for a good 20 minutes or so.

A bombardment of Alum, Styptic, Thayers, and Nivea finally got it to slow down pretty good. The Veg burned like hell... So I almost killed myself on Fathers Day over juice.... I was so close to shaving victory but alas it was not meant to be....

    Incoming ugliness alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the cut 30 minutes after shaving... sorry for the shaky pic...

Fathers day and I wasn't able to see any of my kids. Long day at work, gathering stuff to bring home and now waiting for a ride.

I started the day easy with Barbasol pacific rush and a 1 pass Fusion shave. Followed it with the always lovely Florida Water. CCS.

    Razor - Gold Dollar 800

    Soap - MWF
Brush - Vie Long 12601 The Pony
Post - Cold rinse, Alum, Nivea, The Veg

Had an extra cup of coffee this morning since Sunday is a noon start for me at work. So, I was a little more awake than normal so I was ready to shave and have a great one. And, fortunately, I did just that. The GD800 is well under my control at this point (well until it now bites me for saying that) and with the Fat lathered off of the Pony it was a great feeling process throughout. No nicks, cuts, problems, errors, or anything else. Alum amazingly quiet. I think I'm getting the hang of these straight razors. I will admit I love the process except for the stropping. I seem to be doing fine with it, I just don't really enjoy the process. I know, it should be more meditation time for me. I'm working on it.

Hope you all had a great day today! I'm finally on the weekend so it's getting better by the minute here!

I think there may be a mistake in this statement. I am trying to figure out how relaxing and Pain Stick fit together in a complete sentence without a negative.
