The Haul: June 2016

My wife ordered this strop for me for Father's Day. It comes with four stropping surfaces and diamond spray. There is also some CrOx. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

 

That's the one I use. I really like it. I wound up buying the English Bridle pad as well.

 

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. I have one of Adam's strops for day to day use. I bought this one for touching up edges.

 

Yes I use a hanging strop for everyday. I keep this one with my stones for when I'm working on an edge.

Received a rather rare razor model in the mail today.

The Wilkinson Ultra Glide Mk2 is rare to begin with and I've been lucky to acquire one or two of them in the past.
But - a GOLD Mk2 is something I've never seen before.
Nice weight to it and will be great fun to try out!

 

I really should look at my local discount grocers more often.
They have probably 12+ of these Schick injectors on the shelf for $5.29.

Also, they have about 15-20 pucks of Williams mug soap for .99¢ each.

 

I always look and mine onto carry other than the shave cans.. I've been looking for Williams soaps

Very nice haul! Do you know what color the new SC Oakmoss &amber scent is? Sounds like a great scent. Was a bit dissapointed I missed the release of the hay, rum, Tobacco one and the leather Vetiver soap, both sound amazing also.

Just received these this morning from a trade on another forum.



Used Sweet Briar today and was impressed with the scent, and the lather quality is always top notch with MW IMO.

The PAA is a soap I have not tried yet. The scent is very nice and on the strong side. Did a test lather, couldn't resist. The lather whipped up very fast and felt slick, looking forward to shaving with it.

 

In today an aristocrat. I don't see any date code on the it, maybe it is hiding somewhere?
