It looks like a '48-'51 model to me. Look at the center bar. If it is notched on each end then that's what it is. If it's not notched, then it's '46-'47.

The center bar is notched. Thanks!

Well, I went back to an antique store I was at the other day to get a veneer caliper I saw...it was gone :( . So I walked around anyway.

Went ahead and picked up a lighthouse I saw last time but passed on, then I saw two Flair tips, so I picked them up. Couldn't resist for $1.50 ea. And lastly, the only reason I picked up the AVON flint lock was because it had a scent than none of my other bottles have, Deep Woods AS.

Thanks. I just did the first scrub on them with the tooth brush and noticed that one is a TV special! I have them soaking again for another scrub, so I'll check date codes when I get them out of the next bath.

I screwed up. I screwed up bad... I know not to use CLR so I tried a different bathroom cleaner. Let's just say KaBoom is bad for razors also. :(
I usually use either simple green or dish soap, but wanted to get a little deeper clean, just not down to the copper deep. Oh well, I guess we know which ones will be the first to go out for replate if I ever decide to do that.

Don't feel bad , I pooched a Toggle once. I'm strictly a dawn and hot water guy now, it takes more time but if you do this a lot break down and buy a small ultrasonic cleaner. With detergent , hot water and a few cycles in the machine amazing things happen. And you can seriously clean your glasses (if you wear them) and your wife's jewelry (bonus).

Yup.. back to the simple green and dish soap for me. I'd like to look into an ultrasonic cleaner one of these days.

I need to put a little more effort into not buying any more shave gear, but saw that Maggards now has SV so I couldn't help myself. Plus I just finished off my SC Courage bath soap, so it could be justified.

I retract any comments I may have made regarding the scent of Spitfire. The first time I thought it smelled like an ashtray, but I picked up a different tub, and the scent is marvelous! It's like it transformed into something a million times better. P&B has excellent performance so that won't be a problem whatsoever.

Very happy with these products so far. Used the SV bath soap yesterday, it has a nice light citrus cologne scent and the lather reminded me of the PDP bath soaps, tons of thick lather and feels moisturizing.

The scent of Cosmo is a bit unique, sort of sweet, little bit of floral but a nice scent. I like the design they went with, the double cube is the symbol for Saturn so the name Cosmo fits it perfectly. There is also a teseract symbol on the logo as well. Shaved with it yesterday but it may take a few shaves to dial in the water ratio.

Hopefully the wife doesn't find out about these products. If you don't see me for a few days I may be in the dog house lol.

Unbelievable quick delivery from Russia - 15 days. I just recieved 100 P-Lux blades that I just ordered on June 8th. The fastest I've ever received blades from there was just over 6 weeks - it's usually eight.
