1. Does anyone else feel like the satin handle wants to turn because of the swirl pattern? Is there any way to add some vertical lines to prevent that?
  2. That was the first thing I noticed out of the box. I rest the end of the handle on my pinky when I shave, so it stops the downforce

  6. I didn't think about that. It was just some juniper growing next to our drive.

  10. Seems like the interest in these razors is slowing down some. I also saw an Alumigoose that didn't sell and was relisted.

  11. I think so. The fact that they are readily available at a couple of vendors hasn't helped. Also it's not the new kid on the block any more. I would think that both things would drive down the prices.

  16. Here is my Satin goose. Does anyone know how to add some vertical lines to the handle to prevent it from twisting/turning while shaving?

  18. I would not try to modify the handle. The good news is that the Mongoose uses a standard thread, so there are numerous handles that may be used. Maggard Razors carries a variety of stainless steel handles that are well made and very reasonably priced, and there are many others.

  19. The problem is that other handles including the ones from maggards all have a wide tip (where the handle screws to the thread) so part of the tip extends over the lined part of the mongoose baseplate. Anyone else noticed that? So the handle needs to have a fairly straight and narrow tip.

  20. I haven't noticed this. The Hempel, iKon, Bluebeards Revenge fit my Mongoose heads.
