So Roby, I think I know the answer to this, but if I like Schick injectors (I have an E and a G), would I like a PAL? I've been thinking about a Schick adjustable, but the PAL intrigues me.

YES! I prefer my PAL Adj. to my Schick Adj. but I will say that my favorite injector is the PAL Injecto-Matic, it's amazing, shaving again with it tomorrow! :love029::love055:

Offering another recommendation on the PAL Injecto-Matic - just a great shaver when paired with a Schick blade. Tough call on the adjustables. One advantage of the Schick is it takes twin blades and the PAL does not. With a twin loaded I'd be on the fence for which I like best. But if single blades are what you'll be using I'd second what @Robyflexx says - thumbs up for the PAL. :happy088:

I took the B1 out for its maiden shave this morning and was more than pleasantly surprised. From the very first stroke it was smooth and easy as can be. The first and second pass reduction were remarkable. And the Haslinger's proved itself once again as my favorite soap by a good margin - even though it was only my second time out with it. Overall a BBS but a few DFS spots if I rubbed hard enough. But a great shave and one that has me considering the B1 as my travel razor for my next trip. :happy088:

Oh, I wasn't sure what to load for a blade and I'm happy to report the NOS Schick Super Chromiums were a great match. :happy036:

Had an excellent 3 pass near BBS shave this morning. This soap is legit! The scent is masculine and very nice. The Gem Feather Weight is the most mild SE razor I have used to date and it still did short work of my whiskers with a fresh Gem blade. This may be my favorite Gem razor. Future shaves will tell. But it won't be used until I need to send the bunny razor on.

I just got it. The slickness blew my mind actually. May currently be my slickest soap.

I really enjoy my GEM Featherweight, too! I get a close shave with just one WTG pass. Clean-up brings it even closer. Glad you're enjoying it.

So the one on the right is the earlier model that's the one I have. I usually use the high setting but it is still fairly mild.

The design change must make a difference then. When I first used it I tried the medium setting but soon just set it to high and forgot about it. Like I said not all that aggressive.

That's the Hallmark of the PAL Injectors with Some Folks..There was a Recent Pass Around Thread on B & B & Over Half said it was a Mild Injector..The Other Side of the Fence said it was a Very Aggressive Injector..In Fact..Over Half of them Couldn't get a Shave out of It..:D

That's funny. When I use a PAL I always get a great shave, but the razor doesn't feel dangerous if you know what I mean.

I Agree..The PAL Injectors Feel as if they are Doing Nothing..They Shave Very Deep Very Sublimely..I Would Call that Deceptively Aggressive like a Bullet that Flies from the Barrel of a Gun..Smooth Accurate, & on the Button..The Whiskers Don't Hear it Cause they are Already Dead..:):)
