That it, that's all. I threw away my Williams puck just now and I'm never buying it again after what you just said about it. I'll stick to good soaps like Stirling! ;)

I had great results again with the Single Edge useing the "classic" plate. The Cella hasn't been out for a while and it makes an easy slick lather in no time. Happy 4th of July everyone!

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Jayaruh #81 Silvertip
    Gillette Fatboy
    Astra SP
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    T.N. Dickinson's WH
    Florida Water

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #81 silvertip brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Fatboy razor with an Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Florida Water Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It's a special run of blue and red Alumigeese, 25 of each color, from Straight Razor Designs. The brush is real lapis lazuli... feels and looks great.

It will be at least another week, before I will post any comments - I'd like to have 5+ shaves with any new gear, before posting. Unless I have 3 horrible shaves in the row...

But I can tell you, that contrary to most other reviews I have read so far: too mild was definitely not an issue during my first shave

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20160705_003653.jpg

    Prep: Musgo Real orange amber
    Razor: Gillette Black Beauty (6)
    Blade: Bolzano (1st shave)
    Brush: Maggard 24mm synthetic
    Soap: Tiki- 3 butters
Post: Chiseled Face- Cedar & Spice aftershave

2 pass shave today, scraped out a little bit of Tiki 3 butters and whipped up a nice lather. The scent is slightly floral and not bad, but I have to admit I think I prefer the tallow versions performance, even though this is a decent soap as well. Blade was nice and smooth, finished off with Cedar & Spice a very nice manly scent. Hope everyone had a great Independance day!

It's very tiny. Used most of times to travel, but it's a great brush too!
