My 1956 Gold aristocrat deluxe came in today from Australia. I looks pretty damn good. A little bit of plate loss, but not bad. It's hard to tell because it shines nicely. The case isn't original nor is the blade bank.

Some of this stuff was acquired last month and some was acquired over the past week but I haven't had time to post anything recently.

    Here we go.
A one pound Burma Shave jar for $15 that didn't have holes in the lid.

    jl1.jpg

An older puck of Williams for two bucks. Not sure of the age but there's no UPC symbol and I'm sure the special offer for a shave mug has expired.

    jl2.jpg jl3.jpg jl4.jpg

A couple of Old Spice items. A newer soap on a rope with no box. It came with a few other miscellaneous items so I'm figuring the soap at $10. I've got an older one with a nice box that stays on the shelf but this one will end up in the shower.
Also a 40's/50's era shave stick with a nub of stick still left. One small crack in the plastic and a bit of grunge to clean up but not bad for a buck and a half.

    jl6.jpg jl7.jpg jl8.jpg

Another Schick Krona that I couldn't pass up at $16 and a Schick Dial keychain for a couple of bucks.

    jl9.jpg

Lastly, a NOS Lady Eversharp for $15 and a full bottle of Roman Brio aftershave.

    jl10.jpg jl5.jpg

There's been a few more things, mostly software (soaps, creams, aftershaves, colognes); but as always, if I posted everything I buy, you guys would think I have an addiction.

No addiction. Just a healthy dose of collecting cool shaving items.

Great scores. The Williams soap is from 1976. I have two of the bicentennial pewter mugs.

Awesome! That's Country Club 1837 aftershave (looks like the label was messed up a little). Those Gillette blades are NOS. They came with a travel Tech that I bought. The razor was unused, mid 1960s if I remember right. Enjoy!
