I'd try to burnish it with a smooth rounded steel implement.

Jim I think its one of the top Injectors. I only have 2 Injectors to compare it to the G Model and the M 3Protector. Its every bit as good as either one of those models. As I type this post its 18 hours after using the Pal Injecto- Matic and I can see no need to shave. Its like I just shaved this morning.

A liitle research shows me the schick fashion razor, aka 'The Hussy', was made from 1947-1953. So twin blades are not on the approved list!

Looks like our team here is doing it's part...in presenting a sharp looking, clean shaven, great smelling demeanor to the World...

I think this is important work we are doing here.....}8^))

I will try loading a twin tonight in my Hussy. I believe a twin may fit. The head design on the Hussy is quite unique to the other Schicks.

Stand by for further reports on this.

My pack of blades says '61 or later, non lever Schicks, and no Pal razors.

Hate to even open them! I was able to tweek the spring on the pal, and it seems to have lost the maraca effect. Time will tell if it will keep the tension.

I shaved with the HydroMagic today. Another nice injector! Getting the first blade in was quite a bit of fiddling.

You don't have regular injector blades for the PAL?

Yes, I have a stock of Ted Pella blades for my E, G's, Hussy, and now the PAL & HydroMagic. :)

Edit, I took the above pic for 'The Haul' thread, but figured I'd put it up here as well!

Please report after shaving with it, I'm looking forward to your thoughts on it. Light pressure with it, it's plenty efficient. Enjoy :)

Well, the I1 is prior to 1961 and I've had a twin in mine for months with no problems. My money is on the H being OK with a twin (but I'm grateful to @twhite for being the pioneer...)

I honestly believe it is in your best interest to definitely try the ERs 1914 and 1924, aswell as the Gem Damaskeene or 1912s.....They are fantastic and anyone would make a GREAT "go to" for the most discriminating shaver.....
    BTW.....
Addendum: I have never made any pretense that my opinions here are the least bit "Objective"....
All opinions I offer, are very much "Subjective" in nature....Any number of experienced Wet Shavers could and will list the razors that I just listed in a different order of preference....I know many shavers whose trusted opinions I hold dear...who would list the ER1914 or ER1924 as their favorites....Probably more list the Damaskeene as the Greatest of all time, than any other....And of course the Micromatics have countless admirers...and lets not forget the Lather Catchers..

Not to mention the Injectors....The 'D' 'F' 'E1' and E2..G's and Hussys.....PALs and also the daily shavers like the Ls...The legendary Hydro-matics.....and of course the Repeaters....

I think any of the above mentioned "Holy Grails" have been collected and admired for a reason....and any could and are the ultimate shaver for many very experienced expert shavers....

And I haven't even touched down on the 'Wedge" razors....

I have many of the above razors and wouldn't want to part with mine......I did part with my DEs though....:happy097:

The early E2 is a worthy competitor but my mileage says that only the Schick H (aka the Hussy) and the Bunny are in the same league as the PAL Injecto Matic. :)

Ok guys I went there. The Twins fit the Hussy just fine. All systems are GO. I will try it out tomorrow, as my shave with the dog's dangles and my F went soooooo well. No need to shave tonight.

Did I say I love these Dutch blades? If not I do. I need to make what I have last me 50 more years. As I plan on living to be 103.

I will report back on the Hussy performing with my twins
