Nice. I love Madison. I was there just this last weekend, actually and even though I moved to Ohio 5 years ago, I still love Madison. If it werent for my wife, Id quit my job here and move back to Madison is a second.
Madison is great as long as you like living in a small town. It doesnt have a lot of the shopping options that bigger cities have but in terms of recreation opportunities, nature, community its great. Not to mention for a college town, it doesnt get any better than Madison. Id challenge anyone to show me a college town that has a better gameday experience than Madison does. Like I said, I loved Madison and would have loved to spent a lifetime living there if things had worked out that way but Madison was just too small for my wife's liking and her career path took us to a different city. I grew up in southern Wisconsin though and I try to make a trip back at least once a year. Every time I do, I fall in love with Madison and southern Wisconsin all over again.
