Interesting. It looks like it might be the dispenser referenced in https://www.google.com/patents/US2680905.
Picked up this vintage butterscotch Saybrooke brush. I think I've only ever seen the brand mentioned a handful of times so it might prove to be difficult to find some good information about the brand. Looks rather nice though and seemed ok for $12
Thanks....the concept of putting Stirling's products on my face AND body(bath soaps&aftershaves, well the AS wouldn't go on my body-YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN, lol)) sounds real inviting. Course the shave soaps just go on the face.
I Pressed the Button this SR..Is a Kastor & Bros Germany..These Must be Rare cause I cant find another but they were a Respected Company..Looks a 7/8th to Me.. Got it for Crazy Low Price..Looks Nice..Just some dirt I reckon..Took a chance at that Price..Wetting My Pants. Billy..
I am waiting on my latest purchases from The Shave Den Shop: Killer Queen Shaving Soap and some blades.
Their shaving soap is great stuff, they threw in a sample of the Island bath soap and it lasted a surprisingly long time. Have heard great things about the a/s as well.
I wonder if I'll get a shaving soap thrown in. Or a 3rd B-shop bath soap, with the logic being "he's gonna need more than just the 2!". But I'll be pleased with whatever's in the box, of course.
I'm still waiting on a Parker 51 replacement nib coming from Greece. It's been in Istanbul since the 14th and arrived in Jamaica NY this morning. I am looking forward to getting my pen operative again.
As long as you like the scent you should be happy. Their bath soaps are awesome, and it would be funny if they threw in the barbershop shaving soap, the samples last a long time.
