I'm set for double-edge...must have about 1300 blades still. And now that you guys got me hooked on single-edge, I've got to stock up on those, as well as injectors (I've go three coming in today).

I won a PIF from a generous member of a Facebook shaving group. Really excited to try these out! These are slightly used soaps and creams. I'm excited about the razor racks too.

Congrats on the win! They look like great soaps and I've always eyeballed that razor holder until my wife made me one.

I went into a store today and asked about shaving gear. The owner said she was out of straight razors and showed me an empty vintage display box. She uses the box to display razors and had it marked NFS. I asked her if she would sell it and she originally said no, then shot me a price. I reminded her that she was having a 30% off sale and we settled on a fair price. I like it.

Nice! That particular one was made during the 1916-1919 time period. It might be the beveled edge, but I can't say for certain from the angle in the pictures. Either way, throw an SE in there and go to town! It provides great shaves and I think you'll like it!

Thanks. I ended up with the 24mm TGN Premium Silvertip. I'm liking it so far.

Well, then, it is vintage since it is from the late 50s and 60s. Introduced in 1958.

I googled "beveled edge gem razor" and didn't get much info. Is this what you're meaning?
It's about 3mm wide. Any significance to this bevel thingie?

(Oh, and yes...it shaves quite nicely.)

As much as I try to slow down on new gear to no avail. Picked up some goodies from Maggards yesterday:

    Icon x3 slant head
Wholly Kaw Chepre Rose Concerto- I don't usually like rose scents, but this is so much more than that, more of a chepre than rose.
Catties Bubbles- A Midnight Dreary- very unique dark scent, practical 2oz sample. Thank you CB for offering soap in less than 8oz tubs.
    Dapper Dragon- Scylla sample
    Mickey Lee- Reunion A/S sample
    Soap Commander Vision bath soap
Damn Handsome Grooming shampoo bar- coconut, tobacco, beer

And still waiting for Wickhams SS Club Cola that should arrive any day now. The Super Smooth line is being discontinued so I got a tub for $10, looking forward to trying Wickhams soaps for the first time.

I never stop by garage sales anymore because 99.8% of the time it's all baby clothes and toys, but I digress.

I stopped at one just now because it was in my neighborhood. New, never been used (I pulled the brush out of the cellophane wrapper), copy wright on box is 1984. $2 and I brought it home.
