I am waiting on my latest purchases from The Shave Den Shop: Killer Queen Shaving Soap and some blades.

 

commenting on what I wrote-I believe I dropped my cliff notes .

 

Their shaving soap is great stuff, they threw in a sample of the Island bath soap and it lasted a surprisingly long time. Have heard great things about the a/s as well.

 

I wonder if I'll get a shaving soap thrown in. Or a 3rd B-shop bath soap, with the logic being "he's gonna need more than just the 2!". But I'll be pleased with whatever's in the box, of course.

 

I'm still waiting on a Parker 51 replacement nib coming from Greece. It's been in Istanbul since the 14th and arrived in Jamaica NY this morning. I am looking forward to getting my pen operative again.

As long as you like the scent you should be happy. Their bath soaps are awesome, and it would be funny if they threw in the barbershop shaving soap, the samples last a long time.

 

You're right-that'd be a huge throw-in. I look for the haul to arrive today.

I'm in with Maggards-have my eye on a bath soap-A.S. combination, to open with.

 

It's official, RAD has me. I just pushed the button on this Shovelhead. I've been told it's more aggressive than the 1912 and I'm really looking forward to it.

 

I think I'm about over my RAD. I fear the ASAD may take me next.

I won a raffle at TSR and the prize was an amount to spend on Above The Tie products. Based in Europe but outside of the EU, I shop from EU stores exempt of VAT which means that I get more for the buck. So I ordered two (having to top up the prize money a little, admittedly):
Kronos handle with R2 head
Atlas handle with S2 head

This win was the precursor to my recent going through all of my DEs after a loong period using only SEs. Which led me to ask: why on earth did I stop using DEs?

 

Just ordered four new Sunrise 22mm synthetic knots.
My Parker 51 replacement nib is now in Greenville, SC, so I suspect that it may get delivered tomorrow. Looking forward to that.

 

Looking pretty nice! When you get a chance could you tell me the difference between the two?

 

an update-my package is delayed, but apparently sitting in a USPS facility just 45 minutes from me. Hope to get it tomorrow!!(a Stirling order).
