Finally got it working again to post pics. Now 10 weeks old. Still having a hard time with the loss of my last dog about 2 months ago. But she is definitely helping.

Dogs are probably my favorite things in the world so I love this thread. I have a family dog but I spent many years away from him. I got to spend the last few years with him however and he has really brightened things up around here. Maybe I'll post a picture if I can get him to stand still for a few seconds.

I hope to open up a dog sanctuary some day if I ever have the means for doing it. Everyone here would be welcome to visit.

Great idea! I hope you would plan to take in greyhounds whose racing years are over(among other breeds, of course).

sorry to hear you lost your previous dog. Waiting only 2 months shows how much you value them in your life.

Doesn't matter how big or how old, they're still puppies to me.
    And she's a cute pup!

Last week we had a rabbit visiting us. Our dog Zorro was quite curious and crept around the pen.

The little one, Athena, mixed terrier something, 2 years old now. Mom was a pregnant stray and needed homes for the pups. The big one, Toby, an American Bulldog/Black Lab mix, 11 1/2 years old. Only male of the litter and only one showing Dad's Bulldog looks. cde241da19b2ff1ed7bf76f7e13ea45d.jpg

Love Great Danes. We had a faun with big floppy ears for 11 wonderful years. He would back up to the couch and sit on your lap.

The Maggie dog and me. She's a rescue from the local animal shelter. They found her living wild and everyone was afraid of her. I have always had large dogs my whole life. We bonded immediately and now she will not leave my side.
