MitA! Seemed like a popular choice, and I don't have a full face freezing shave soap already.

    Received these yesterday:

Gave the Malibu Bath soap sample and the MITA a run this AM. Very pleased. Thanks again!

I've spent a week with the MITA now. Using injector and SR this week. The soap lathers nicely, and the surface has started to meld to a smoother surface. Initial surface texture was quite irregular, and not the most visually appealing.

Scent is nice and limey. There is a bottom note, I'm assuming from the tallow base and lanolin. Having been using TSD soap and VDH previously, it's a bit noticeably 'animal'.

Performance has been very satisfying. Loads easy/quick in both my boar and synthetic brushes. There's a nice menthol note, but not over the top. I notice the menthol more when finishing with a cold water rinse. Leaves a nice suble cool tingle while waiting for my skin to dry prior to applying after shave.

I'm going to mix up some lime A/S today to pair with this soap.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this Sterling soap, and I am grateful for the generous PiF. This large tub will last me quite while, probably the better part of a year. Maybe more depending on rotation. I'd definitely recommend anyone who has not tried Stirling soaps to do so after my short sampling.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
