It's smaller than my tri-color so I had to reload it between the first and second pass. I've been bowl lathering for my first pass and face for the remaining passes. It was decent with the bowl, fantastic when face lathered. I really liked the size of it and that it had more backbone than my synthetics. I plan on using it exclusively for a while to get it really broken in before comparing it to the RazoRock. Thank you for the suggestion!

My own experience was similar. I had a modest collection, maybe 2 dozen DE's when I discovered single edge shaving. A year later I realized that I was no longer using any of them.

My original plan was to sell most of them but keep a few favorites - a Gillette Red Tip, a Long Comb NEW, a Weber PH. However, when I revisited these I was greatly disappointed, finding the shaves to be inferior to SE shaves in just about every way possible.

Now I have no DE's and don't miss them at all.

Ben, ounce you become accustomed to it, loading it thoroughly will not be a problem. It does excel at face lathering no doubt. One thing that helps me when loading is I load for 10 seconds clockwise then 10 seconds counterclockwise. You'll find as it breaks in and spreads it will be dreamy. 105.gif

Know the feeling.....Piffed all my DEs except my birth year Super Speed....But very seldom use it....Injectors and SE's have just stolen the show in my shave cave....seems to be happening that way in alot of shave caves....};^))

Amen....:signs011:....I gave up my mint boxed Senator and Gillette Adjustables....If I don't shave with it....I don't like to keep them....

I'm going to be culling the herd again shortly....I've got so many great shavers, that I feel I should share the wealth....I'm finding myself only actually using a very small handfull....For the last month I've actually used only one razor for almost every single shave....:shocked003:

First shave with the Bunny V-3 injector. Marvelous folks! The angle was easy to find straight away for me. This razor shaves deep with the wild comb in place. By deep I mean I achieved a shave comparable to my PAL razors which means nothing left behind...nothing. Three easy breezy passes and I am dolphin smooth and refreshed. Some people don't like the bulky head but I disagree. I found the bulk of the head to provide a hefty weight and balance from the head to the end of the handle which allowed for a natural pivot of the razor while shaving. I believe the weight adds to the efficiency of the razor. Good thing Tom is gonna sell these things online cause if you were standing ahead of me in line you might get clotheslined! :happy097: You're a genius Tom! Pics below

    Blade: Chinese Schick
Razor: Schick Adjustable Injector (on pass-around from @twhite)
    Brush: Vulfix badger
    Lather: Stirling Barbershop
Post: Witch hazel splash, Mennen Skin Bracer, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

I've been out of the loop this past week due to my busy schedule. I've been shaving but not able to post. Still busy today but found some time to share my shave. It was a nice one! I tried setting 5 today and it felt really good. I used setting 3 a couple of days ago and think I like 5 better.

Stirling's Barbershop lathered up beautifully. It's slick, shiny, and really top-notch soap. Skin Bracer is a wonderful complement to the Barbershop scent. This was a great Saturday shave.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Excellent picture and write up. The Bunny was my introduction to injectors and I've been chasing the shave it gives ever since.

    Today's shave: Saturday July 30, 2016

    Schick Type O (Chinese knock-off)
    Schick Chinese blade (1)
Fine Angel Hair 20mm synthetic brush
    Stirling Electric Sheep soap
    4711 aftershave & cologne

The Schick Type O was the last injector made by Schick and was only sold in Japan. Thus, they are extremely rare, and if one does show up on eBay it sets off a bidding frenzy. However, eBarbershop sells a Chinese made lookalike for $29.95 plus $4.98 shipping. It includes your choice of a gift box or a clamshell travel case.

I have a Chinese knock-off of a Schick Type L - it's a piece of junk. Would this be any better? Curiosity getting the better of me I ordered one, opting for the travel case.

When it arrived I was relieved to find that the build quality was reasonably good, much better than the Type L clone. Googling some images revealed that it indeed is a pretty close copy of an O, except of course for the Schick logo on the back of the head. The travel case was rather generic looking and possibly a re-purposed eyeglass case, but it is quite sturdy and the razor fits in it nicely. The chrome plating looks good, the rubber handle is quite "grippy" and it has a solid feel in the hand.

It had a blade blank installed and a Chinese Schick blade injected fairly easily. It required a little finessing, probably because the razor was new. A check with the magnifying glass indicated that the blade was against the blade stops and securely held in place.

The shave was pretty much what I expected: smooth and on the mild side. My usual 3 passes resulted in a mostly BBS shave, except with slight stubble in my usual trouble spots. Nothing to get excited about, but a perfectly acceptable irritation-free shave, comparable to one from any of the later Schicks.

The real Type O, being a later model Schick, will accept Twin Blades. Will the knock-off?

Yes, it will. I haven't tried shaving with a Twin Blade yet, but it's on my ToDo list.

Never having used a real Type O I cannot say how it compares to the genuine article. Of course, if someone wants to give me one I'll be happy to do an in-depth comparison. :lyrtuy5:

So is it worth buying? It's a pretty good razor, but for $35 one can likely pick up a couple of nice vintage Schicks, maybe some blades, and have enough left over for a latte.

On the other hand, it's probably the closest that most of us will come to owning a Schick Type O.

Excellent shave this morning with the Bunny V3 injector. Three easy passes, very efficient. My homemade Haslinger shave stick works wonderfully . The Bunny is very well made, the handle feels great in hand and the razor as a whole feels very substantial. As polished as the finish on the handle is it is not slippery. Tomorrow I'll try the NotSo comb for comparison. I am dolphn smooth and refreshed. Have a great day friends. :)

I was lucky enough to trial the Bunny during the UK pass-around. Thoroughly enjoyed it , and would love to buy one, if Tom ever brought into the Market - Place.

    Razor- Schick M3 Protector
    Blade- Schick Twin Blade (5)?
Brush- Vintage Made Rite L1500 Pure Badger
Lather- Ogallala Bay Rum Lime and Peppercorn soap
Post- Ogallala Genuine Bay Rum Lime and Peppercorn aftershave.

3 pass shave routine and I'm BBS and refreshed.
Nothing unexpected with this shave the Schick M3 and the Schick Twin blade is a very predictable shave. And this combo could easily be my goto shave.
