Thank you very much Roby I'm not at your level for injectors yet but some day. You have a very impressive collection as I recall seeing it posted a few days ago.

A close smooth as can be shave with the E3 today. This razor just feels... I don't know, more solid than my G. I'm loving it. I still can't believe that I used to think it was too aggressive.... Anyway its a sweetheart now!

I have Never Owned One..They are Allegedly Super Mild like the Gillette Trac 11 Injector..A Few of the Guys that have Bought them were Rather Disappointed in them..That's 2nd Hand Intel Mind but it Does Seem to be a General Consensus.. @spidey9 has One..:)

    You rang?

Yes, I have one and it is indeed a very mild razor, perhaps one of the mildest in my collection. It's milder than any Schick I have tried, milder than a Gem Contour II.

While it bears a superficial resemblance to the PAL Adjustable, it is a completely different razor (and milder than the Adjustable set on the lowest setting).

The only razor I can think of that is milder than the Personna is a Bic Sensitive single blade disposable.

    Today's Shave: Sunday July 31, 2016

    L' Essor French razor
    CDSF L' Essor wedge blade
    The Grooming Co. synthetic brush
    Chiseled Face Groomatorium Cryogen soap
    Pinaud Clubman Original aftershave

This L' Essor razor is seriously competing with my Rapides and C. V. Heljestrand as my preferred wedge blade razor. It's built like a tank and features a TTO mechanism to secure the blade that just may pre-date the MMOC as the first TTO.

I got a new strop (a 3" 30 Degree Red Latigo) and I cannot believe the difference it made - this may be my smoothest shave with this type of razor . . . ever. My old strop was a decent one (Illinois 127) but it was my learning strop and did have a few battle scars. Also, I'm no longer using my Kampfe Bros. stropping tool, just a simple stropping handle (you can see it in the case). Three passes produced a BBS shave (not unusual with this type of razor) and zero irritation - I hardly felt the aftershave sting (somewhat unusual with this type of razor).

I never realized that a strop could make such a big difference. (The straight razor guys are probably rolling their eyes here).

Thank you. The brush handle is made by our own @Douglas Carey with a Druida Manchurian badger knot installed.

    Blade: Chinese Schick
Razor: Schick Adjustable Injector (on pass-around from @twhite)
    Brush: Vulfix badger
    Lather: Proraso Green
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with TSD SubZero, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG

No fuss, easy shave this morning. Proraso Green lathered easily as always. The Adjustable on setting 5 was smooth and comfortable yet again. I really like this razor!

This was a good way to begin the work week. Hope you all have a great day!

I tried out a new sample of Sterling Soap's Executive Man today and broke out one of my favorite razors - the PAL Adjustable. The scent is great but I'm going to have to try it again a few times to see if the harsher than usual shave from the PAL was me, the soap, a blade getting old, or some combination of the above. :signs002:
