I agree the X3 is a great shaver. Mild but mows thru hair with no problem.

youngunn Where's my TSD aftershave balm???

I really enjoy the extra weight with this head over stock handle. The stock one feels like a toy after using the Bulldog lol

Move in is finally over (still unboxing) but I had acquired several days growth.

    •Gem G-Bar/Heavy Flat Top
    •Gem coated stainless
•Axe menthol shave gel (1st pass)
•Nivea menthol shave gel (2nd pass)

Two pass BBS. Shimmed the G but quickly realized it performs better without.

Nivea is all around better than the Axe, no surprise there. The Axe will be relegated to body wash duty, or maybe hand soap by the sink. Nivea could be a lot more cooling but is a nice gel anyway.

•Afta regular a/s balm. Very nice scent.

    Schick S/S single [ 1- Japan ]
    Alum Rub & Rinse off
    Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion

Out of my small collection of Injectors , this PAL is one of my favourites in looks and use. Today used a Schick single from Japan , which I got by mistake thinking I had ordered a Twin Blade. I have previously used it in other razors with great success, so was looking forward to seeing how it fared in the PAL.
Smooth efficient and close is how I would describe it . I have used the PAL with the Chick/Personna & NOS blades , but my initial impression is that this blade raises it to another performance level . Though it is quite expensive compared to the Chick , it is a nice treat . For me cost -wise probably similar to NOS, due to relatively high shipping costs added on to purchase price. Will I buy more ? - maybe but I have a reasonable stock of Chicks & NOS blades. But when one considers how much is spent on other shaving items, IMHO well worth getting a 10 blade dispenser.

This was one of the best shaves I've had in a long time. The Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap lathered so easily and delivered a menthol atom bomb freeze. The Arctique aftershave felt super-frigid and wonderful! :happy088: :happy088:
